I am going to post a Few Personal Cuts that I have never posed before on Jingle Mad
You have to see if you can ID where they come from

Let’s start with the 2nd Jingle I ordered that was sung in Dallas (but the first to sing my name Correct)

just like some of mine ;^)

How far back are you able to play some of your earliest ones?
e.g. “UK -recorded” (just asking, not really anything suggested for open playout here)

I have everything now transferred to digital except a few Alfasound cuts that I have not been able to find the original tapes one of them Steve England did as a freebie as he wanted to use the track in a demo not sure if it ever happened but the track was one of the unused beds from the CBC master

Anyway anyone want to take a guess at the first cut posted ??

Sounds like Alfasound or perhaps Tapetrix to me, but not sure of the exact cut. ?

I will give that to Mark as it was on the Jingles1 LP sung by UK Singers
A few weeks after that came out Steve offered spare slots in his first Dallas session for £45 each !! and that was the cut I picked originally from the Jingles1 LP

I’ll hazard a guess. Alfasound’s Chiltern Radio. Not sure of the original lyrics, but was it “Chiltern Radio, the best sound in your town” ?

Hard to believe that these classic UK packages are heading for THIRTY-FIVE years old and more now!

Both Sean and Iain are correct it was originally from Chiltern 4 and original sing was “Chiltern Radio,the best sound in your town”

My re sing was sung at TM before Alfa started its association with JAM , the same session the main package was for County Sound 3

On to the Last one and a Music Mix with Jingles as this includes the Shortest Personal Cut I have had sung by Dallas Singers along with a few others but can you ID what package they are from ?

I’m guessing they’re acappellas sung at TM during the 2000s/2010s. I’m not really sure if they’re from a particular package because the tracks under them don’t really fit the vocals. One of the tracks does sound like it was recorded in LA during the TM Productions era, but I don’t know where the other backing track is from.
