      I noticed on the 101.1WCBS website that Pat St. John retired yesterday after 42 years.

        Pat is moving to the west coast to be closer to his family. He’ll continue to be on Sirius/XM.

          I heard Pat reminiscing about his radio career and playing airchecks of himself on WPLJ and WCBS FM ove the weekend in some of the great little segments I heard myself when listening in the car to WCBS FM via my iPhone and also stuff on Rewound Radio too and some mentions of Pat on PLJ as well.

          It was great that the usual radio rivalry was put aside over the weekend so that the stations could all pay their tributes to Detroit and New York Radio legend Pat St John who also worked on Canadian station CKLW as well………
