Okay… (this is of course NO surprise…..) second time lucky!

I’ve been ‘hanging my nose’ over Omni-Trax for years, having bought some cuts for Trent in 1991, and at last have ‘taken the plunge’. The package has some of my favourite JAM tracks: the f-s, s-f cuts have superb transitions, the melodies/ strings are GREAT, + the ‘bells’ echo the logo, they are ‘tight & bright’.

I prefer the Magic 106 versions to the WENS demo, but there were also great versions for Century, Ireland.

      It’s a GEM of a package…… so I took the plunge..

(I think this is one of THE most under-rated JAM jingle packages, nearly every cut is a ‘winner’ )

          Thanks Bossjock!

I’d forgotten I started this topic – so here’s the mix that converts the cuts from a ‘1960s Cafe’ cut into a general one – the short instrumental fill makes it sound complete still !

Written for Magic in LA the package came to The Netherlands for Sky Radio. After that syndication Sky started an almost yearly tradition to do a partly Dutch (Top Format) partly American (JAM) custom package. First without, later with the frequency sung in Dutch (100.7 FM). But the logo melody always stayed the same. I think this was the first custom based on the old Omnitrax package, called Skytrax. In the US demoed for Lite FM 103 WLTE…
