Worked for me! Lots of JAM Radio 1 + some Clifford T Ward singing for Signal.
Thanks Linden.
February 12, 2014 at 11:25 am #93287bossjockMemberWorked for me too. Great montages Linden – thanks And I enjoyed Jonno’s OMMs too. Thanks for taking the time to put these together guys – always a pleasure!
February 12, 2014 at 12:21 pm #93291Jim DonahueNice montages Linden – thanks.
Enjoyed yours too Jonno! Lots of great material guys.
February 12, 2014 at 1:42 pm #93294IainJohnstonA-OK from home Linden – looks like the “thought police” at “the cooncil” have the blockers on – was even worse when I tried to access the D*g*t*l-S*y forums!
Neat montages – and doesn’t that wee bit of “post-studio-pre-TX reverb” WABC-style give everything a good lift & blend?
February 12, 2014 at 4:41 pm #93295gameswizardMemberI have made some new OMMs, they are available to download from my website!
I loved the JAM and AlfaSound montage you’ve put together >
Who did the Radio 2 jingles (I’m tempted to say PAMS).
Were they like from 1974 as they sound early 70s.February 12, 2014 at 6:37 pm #93297IainJohnstonThe R2 are indeed PAMS circa 1974 – they’re on the KenR BBC Commemorative CDs etc along with the 1972 KULF/KRLD ones, and other custom cuts and some WEEI etc too, in excellent stereo
February 12, 2014 at 8:38 pm #93302IainJohnstonI’d like to hear a bit more MOR PAMS stuff from the early 1970s generally, because they did some good non-Series MOR customs for a couple of years before TM’s new distinctive lush orchestration style seemed to corner the market.
February 16, 2014 at 3:09 pm #93368gameswizardMemberLinden, I noticed you’re currently up to #17 with some wonderful Signal montages from Phoenix, Century 21 and JAM.
Great stuff >February 16, 2014 at 6:38 pm #93371IainJohnstonThanks for adding even more Linden
Listening to #17, it struck me that “thats what happens” when every cut is at the same pace or tempo, there’s no lyrical content other than repeating the station name, and the “end sing” seems to be identical on every single cut.
Or its just these tinny wee laptop speakers not really doing the audio justice…
Keep ’em coming though!

MPF One Minute Montage #78 by MPF One Minute MontagesSeptember 10, 2014 at 3:10 pm #95652Sean MartinMemberThese iJingles were all produced singing over music tracks, but sometimes it’s fun just to hear the vocal harmonies that the 5 singers in the group can punch out. (Even Michi@J1 gets a mention)!

September 10, 2014 at 6:49 pm #95657tyty21just hot! vocals only, real nice! haven’t done one in a while! will do another soon, working on other things right now.
September 13, 2014 at 12:09 am #95692professor1036A nice little revival of the OMM taking place…
Here’s a repost of my first OMM from two years ago, which concentrated on accapellas!

Can you name the packages?
Embedded at home.recnet.com/soundcloudOctober 11, 2014 at 7:00 pm #95999IainJohnstonI’ve no idea whatsoever! And I’ve been a collector since before many of you were even born
BUT – the last item sounds uncannilly like the backing track from “Out to Get Lucky” or whatever its called that still grinds out on nearly every station day after day…(sing it in your heads and you’ll “hear” what I mean…)
October 11, 2014 at 7:43 pm #96000professor1036A minute of TM classics from the 1980’s…
October 12, 2014 at 12:39 am #96001glenI think that first is one TM news packages for WMAQ. Or it the Country Powerhouse package. I know that I’ve heard it before.
October 12, 2014 at 6:53 pm #96004pvankleiMemberI also hear cuts from William B. Tanner – Hot Shots and TM – Rhythm Of The City.
