If other similar CBS-owned stations like 92.3 Now in New York are any indication, Amp 103.3 probably won’t have jingles at all.

At least they gave WODS station a good send-off, unlike what happened with the original CBS-FM. Longtime jocks JJ Wright, Paula Street, and Jay Gordon are on the air now saying goodbye, and some of the “Oldies 103” Otis Connor jingles were played along with some oldies that they haven’t played much recently.

Now, they have format running on WODS-HD2 and online. Seems like it’s in “testing mode” now with multiple jingles/sweepers being played in a row, which must sound like a trainwreck for the average listener, but is good for jingle airchecking!

I noticed that WODS-HD2 has brought back the “Oldies 103.3” branding, along with jingles from the late-2007 and early-2009 JAM packages. Though the music mix is still more “Classic Hits” than “Oldies”.

I wonder if the change in the HD2’s branding could have anything to do with Entercom’s plans for the main channel. The merger is about to go into effect.

I was just gonna say something about that. seems WJMK as k-hits may be moving to HD2, as the merger starts taking shape, we’ve had 4 flips and a frequency swap. KVIL and WBMP is now alternative, WJMK is classic hiphop, KSWD flipped to K-Love as they got sold to EMF, but who knows. I hope Entercomm may make a playlist tweek of some sort, cause they do have an actual oldies station in the Denver market.
