Just browsing round town and the soundtrack of my afternoon is Jeffro Radio.
New jingles, new slogan, new remixes with the same great radio experience.
Tell us more JeffroAugust 18, 2018 at 7:07 pm #102898DuncanNewmarchMember“Feel the Rhythm” relates to a themed weekend, it’s been used for some time. The jingles DO sound great!
August 19, 2018 at 11:49 am #102899IainJohnstonExcellent audio quality on my PC!
Familar and not-so-familiar tracks running – compared with BBC Radio 2 which appears
to be stuck in a “Now NN” CD selection of 1980s number ones on endless rotation and
padded out with acres of brain-dead wafflling ninnies.
Jeffro Radio now bookmarked! Funky stuff :^) Album cuts possibly?Just heard a good near-buzz-depth JMW sono with the new slogan.
PS – if Jeff is reading this – quick techy feedback – the on-screen link at “Contact…” is
heavy dark blue on the “Jeffro” gray/black wallpaper, so is near unreadable
(well, to us “ancient ones” at least!!!)PS – not personally so keen on some of the “rap” stuff, which to my old ears isn’t
“true” RnB, but then again Jeffro IS programming with the influence of a
“Chicago Sound” – it does what is says on the tin :^)August 19, 2018 at 11:51 am #102900ratnobMemberJust browsing round town and the soundtrack of my afternoon is Jeffro Radio.

Duncs is correct. “Feel the Rhythm” is just one of Jeffro Radio’s many feature weekends. I started this one about a year and a half ago, which is when I bought the Music Jam and Kiss & Tell cuts along with those sonos and chants.
IJ said the “rap stuff” isn’t true RnB. Well, you’re half right! It’s definitely NOT blues (the “b” in R&. It IS, however, considered rhythm…and that’s all I promise with this feature! NEVER one mention of “blues.”
It was Aretha Franklin’s passing that inspired this particular airing of FTR. I wanted to play many of her hits and this feature allows that with rhythmic songs from SIX decades.
Glad you all enjoyed! The regular format (and the slew of other jingles) will return in 41 minutes
August 22, 2018 at 6:59 pm #102909ntcarver0MemberOh ho ho. Listening now, and it is awesome, as always. Can we get to hear some of the new cuts in montage form?
August 24, 2018 at 6:09 pm #102918Jeffrey T. MasonMemberOne of these days, I’ll get to a new montage. It’s always an undertaking! LOL
