is it me or is nothing much happening on here at the moment :
September 28, 2005 at 5:51 pm #17681TommieNo, it seems calm at the jingle front. I’m surprised however – since there are so many UK’ers in here – that almost no one is ever talking about Wise Buddah. They’ve got some great stuff online. I regard them very highly, and I think they produce some of the most creative jingles these days. But of course, they’re not sung by a Dallas-based 7-voice group…
And some of the new Reelworld jingles are truly fantastic. The new site, however…
Ah well, just bringing some action… 😉 Does anybody know of new things to look forward to?
September 29, 2005 at 9:49 am #17684RobWalkerMemberI was in Dallas a couple of weeks ago, for the vocal session for the new WNIC custom package from JAM. Jon and the gang outdid themselves! It should be on the air in a week or two, and it’s amazing!
When it’s on the air, I’ll make sure I share a bit of it with you all.

Hi Rob,
Sounds good!
Whats this one going to be called?
“Naughty But Nice” 😆September 29, 2005 at 11:50 am #17686JingleMadMemberpetewilson” wrote:

“Naughty But Nice” 😆Looking forward to hearing the new “Naughty, but NICE”. It sure is a thrill being in the studio when a jingle package is taking shape and you can hear each and every instrument and effect in the tracks.
I expect Berko commissioned this again?
As for it being quiet round here . . . just look at the member numbers! Over 6’600 and it’s still the same dynamic dozen that are active posters (thank goodness). Thanks to you all.
Once the download section comes back I expect it’ll get busier.

I’m really looking forward to hearing this new package, the previous “Nice” series (It’s/Very/Really/Twice As) for the station were excellent. Just wonder how long it’ll be before we get to hear a demo though.
And isn’t it nice to see a station going from Reelworld back to JAM for a change!
September 30, 2005 at 4:11 pm #17695dogman849I emailed Theresa Lucas at WNIC a couple days ago and she told me about the new jingle package coming soon. Also look for “100% Christmas Music” in late October/early November. 100.3 WNIC is also streaming online at http://www.wnic.com. Surely the “nicest” place online.
September 30, 2005 at 8:13 pm #17697RobWalkerMemberIt really was an experience to see the 7 voice group sing that WNIC logo… one I’ll never forget.
To answer some questions, Gary Berkowitz had nothing to do with this package, as he no longer is involved with WNIC. Darren Davis, the PD at ‘NIC put this package together, and it really mixes well with the rest of the “Nice” packages. If you weren’t aware, WNIC has been airing selected cuts from the previous JAM customs and Darren wanted something that would match.
I do weekends at WNIC in addition to my full time gig in Ann Arbor and it’s a real treat to be able to play those cuts on the air … and I’m really excited that they sang a jock cut for me.

“Naughty But Nice” 😆LOL. The unofficial title is “Oh, THAT’S Nice”.
(you have to say it in a REALLY sarcastic voice, though!)
September 30, 2005 at 8:56 pm #17699dogman849Do you know what day the new jingles will be aired?

I think i got the male solo cut and the accapella cut from 2m17secs cleanly if you would like them standalone but that’s all.
