I really like news talk jingles especially with big 'in your face' brass and strings

Here's a great example from TM's Ultimate Authority package. (apologies for the sharp cut off at the end – this track was lifted from a demo CD).

I seem to remember RTE 2FM had a version of this which was used for the Chart show with Larry Gogan

A great package that runs along those same lines is “N2 The News” produced by the now-defunct N2Effect. This is the version they did for Fox News affiliates. Sadly, I don't think this is even available any longer since the owner of N2Effect has formed an entirely-new company and created a new package with less brass and string.
