Wow… the last time I took part in these forums was when they were still on MediaUK…
As some of you may recall, I was heading over to Dallas and staying with David Graupner.
Well, I’m back now, and I had the best time! I got to sit in on the recording sessions of the new WASH-FM package, and got a load of photos. Anyone interested in seeing them?

Thought it might be!
Some of them are available on the TM website – under the WASH@Work section – I’ll post a few later on tonight or tomorrow (I’m at work just now!)
I’m already planning to go back next year!

Bruce Upchurch wrote the WASH@Work package for WASH-FM. Here he is conducting the musicians in the string session.
The string players take a break… but not for long, as in the background, you can see Bruce striding back into the studio.
The next day the brass session takes place!

It was a lot of fun.. I loved sitting in on the session…
The ‘clients’ – the guys from WASH-FM were sitting in on the recording too… we had a great laugh, and they asked my opinion on some of the cuts!

If you recall the ‘big room’ where the salesmen sit… that used to be where they stored the reference tapes, extra CDs from their weekly and syndicated series and tons of vinyl.
Go to http://www.reelradio.com/mpf/millenium1.html to see what the place looked like before the clean out.
To quote an old PAMS jingle… o/~ I had a ball in Big D o/~
