I think a lot of Groove Addicts stuff is great. I am a real big fan of the Kool FM Ottowa stuff, but I think in the last couple of years they’ve fallen behind Reelworld, especially here in the UK.
What was the last UK station to get a new GA pack ?

July 30, 2005 at 1:15 pm #24995joejinglesHi,
Groove Addicts is superb. A direct decendent of the “Heller” school, Groove Addicts started as HLC (Hicklin-Lubinsky), using the same writers and vocal groups as did Heller. Love their WODS Boston oldies pkg.

You might want to get to know Cody's situation before you pass childish comments on his posts.
Perhaps Cody would like to explain more to avoid further comments like this.
God, what must Cody think of us Brits!.
December 15, 2006 at 7:44 pm #28045IainJohnstonMemberI also mis-understood Cody's situation, and have now also encountered others – e.g. on Digital Spy – who also use voice-recognition software or other devices to assist blind or partially-sighted persons (and others with various handicaps) to actively participate in forums and other areas of the web.
The only difficulty is trying to be aware of the GENUINE posters who are using this technology, as opposed to the “trendy” people who either think its “cool” to write in a form of neandrathal sub-English or are actually sub-literate in real life because they didn't bother to “stick-in” when they were supposed to be at school!
I think someone previously made a very good suggestion to JingleMad of putting some kind of friendly marker on the appropriate Posters left-hand-side ID panel to show that they are using an Assistance device or software tool to create their Posts.
It would be good to see something like that implemented Roy and Dave ? (provided each relevant user gave their individual consent to the marker being put on of course)
Considering that the vast majority of JingleMadders would NOT be the kind of people who would use the marker as an excuse for abusive Posts etc against the person, I think it would work well here at least – would “The Management” be willing to give it a “pilot run” and see how it goes?
December 15, 2006 at 8:20 pm #28046JingleMadMemberOK… Here's what mike tommess from Reelworld said.
Hi Cody,
Thanks for the kind werds about our new WLIT 2007 package. Will be releasing i along with some new stuff! Stay tuned!
My question is this. Will the new WLIT package bee as good as the privious stuff they used?
Sorry about the miss spelling. I'm just doing the best I can.Back to ReelWorld…
December 16, 2006 at 3:30 am #28049jr2479My apologies indeed. I think wixy has an excellent idea, if even in the avatar or signature area.

I assume it was the stuff they did for Magic in London – assuming that they are actually from Groove Addicts. Otherwise I suppose it's the R2 update ones every now and then.
December 18, 2006 at 7:57 am #28076MarcMannetjeHere in The Netherlands I heared new cuts for Q Music, I'm almost positive they came from RW to…
December 18, 2006 at 7:24 pm #28079styrofoamradioBelieve it or not, I think their *country* packages are their best ones! They're very organic. If you think about it, the jingles themselves are more CHR than country. The KNIX package and the follow-ups are amazing

The Magic 105.4 cuts were composed by Hugo de Chaire at Nodus Music in London.
Thanks for that Neal…never knew they were from Hugo de Chaire. Having just listened to the Magic cuts on-line, the “dreamy” sound of them reminds me of the 80s group called Double who had a hit with The Captain Of My Heart.

Now that ReelWorld one is so popular, will there be any new formats on the service?
