Hi there! I am quite new but fascinated from all that jingles stuff they use in the “All request saturday night” show with Ron Sedaille at 102.9 DRC-FM. Does anyone has that package? And … is there any way to have those classic JAM- or PAMS-stuff? It sounds soooo great
Greetings
KenJune 22, 2012 at 12:30 pm #84963IainJohnstonMemberWelcome to JM Ken!
There are (legitimate) ways to indeed have classic JAM or PAMs etc etc stuff.
Whereabouts are you country-wise?

Talk about ripping-off the PAMS library!
June 22, 2012 at 4:37 pm #84968IainJohnstonMemberUnfortunately TC, these “Jumbo Records” efforts have been going the rounds, particularly in Europe, for donkey’s years, with “associations” to certain people in the now-aging offshore pirate radio fan fraternity.
The “publishing” of these particular items are also some kind of “grey area” that involves Holland (?) – still clearly NOT legally permitted by the true copyright owner(s) but appear e.g. on eBay and all the rest of it – I’ve even found them in the music sections of public libraries! Usually its re-heated edits and dubs of dubs of….ancient old reel-to-reel from the pirate eras.
June 22, 2012 at 5:41 pm #84970TurnToStoneJust a second … I don’t want to do something illegal! I am looking for those generic jingles and would pay for it. It was just an example for what kind of material I’m after, ok?
June 22, 2012 at 6:06 pm #84971mjb1124MemberI don’t think anyone’s blaming you, “Ken” (welcome aboard by the way!). Iain (wixy1360) was just pointing out that these Jumbo Records jingle compilations were apparently released without the proper copyright clearances.
I’m sure someone here will be happy to help you start a collection. As long as you don’t start taking credit for montages that others have created, or make incessant posts asking for jingle packages that nobody has, you’ll be good.

You should contatct Ben Freedman for generic jingles. He’s got a package called
Promo Bank. Here’s the link:June 22, 2012 at 6:21 pm #84974glenRipping off the PAMS library?
That’s a great way to get a phone call from a legal eagle!June 23, 2012 at 3:53 am #84983Tracy CarmanMemberJust a second … I don’t want to do something illegal! I am looking for those generic jingles and would pay for it. It was just an example for what kind of material I’m after, ok?
I’m not suggesting that you did anything illegal. I’m just pointing out that these “generic” jingles are actually (poor) edits of PAMS cuts.
