      Hi there everyone,

I am new to the radio station scene and jingles inparticular.. having said that i am pretty arty and creative with music editing software and have made up some punchy jingles for the new radio station i am working on in Spain.
Its an english based station for all the lovely Ex-pats of the uk, and has a listening quota of around 40,000.
its kinda based on radio 2 / 4 but with a modern spin too, which is where myself and my colleague peter come in..
So there was me doing my more contemporay stint, mon, wed, frid afternoons and finding myself playing older style jingles amongst modern music.. it just wasnt working!
So i have made some up myself, but i have one vital thing missing.. the frequency! What i mean to say is, i can have all the “music power” and “fun in the sun” snips medleyfied, but would love 95.6 somewhere in the middle.
I know this sounds long winded, but just wanted to say a hi and introduce myself as well.

So if anyone knows of or has any jingles with the singing of 95.6 or 95.3 fm in them, either acappella or with music, i would be really grateful.

      Many thanks

      TJ :D

Hi Tony, welcome to the wonderful world of jingles and things. What is the background of the station that you’re working on? Is it funded by the state? or by private means? You may have problems in using pre-existing acapellas or sung jingles for 95.6 or 95.3 fm, they will have been sung for a particular radio station and that radio station will hold the licence for those sung bits and the production company i.e. Jam, TM or whoever produced will hold the copyright to the jingles. So it could be a bit iffy. Sorry for the negativity. :(
