A pretty poor start to 2024 – The Radio Vault of New Zealand on YouTube has disappeared, I loved going on that channel to listen to jingles from Australian and New Zealander radio stations,

What in the name of jam has happened to the channel? Have any of you been on the channel just before it disappeared?

I enjoyed hearing the jingles of News Talk 1ZB and The Breeze from his channel.

He had a video where he had a recording of KNX 1070 which he received it from New Zealand.

They posted some good content over the years but keeping it maintained is time consuming (and often costly). We put a lot of effort into http://www.aircheckdownloads.com so we know exactly how much work goes into it. Hopefully it will come back one day.

Hell, the Radio Vault disappearing reminds me of when the video with jingles for Hospital Radio Fox was privated a few hours after I last watched it in mid-October.

If you don’t know what HRF jingles were in that video, then it included a custom sung composite package produced for the station by Alfasound, mainly including cuts from the Radio Victory 1 and CBC packages, with 1 cut from the Chiltern Radio 2 package and maybe a couple of cuts from the Radio 210 package, it also included generic Alfasound jingles and a few DJ announcements and radio show themes and promotions.

Bummer, loved their compilation of TM’s The Connection resung for Radio Geyserland. 🙁
I hope they come back immediately.

Update: Double ouch for 2024, because you can no longer listen to Pete Wilson’s Jingle Mix on his website, luckily it’s still up on jinglesamplers.com
