Firstly; A HUGE “Happy New Year” to all fellow Jinglemadders!! I adore this website/forum – thanks to Roy for his sterling work!

Does anyone have any examples of “Happy New Year” jingles from over the years? We have this from S2blue for Moorlands Radio, that gets unboxed once a year!

Most of what I have tends to be no-station-name “shouts”, so not really much use to put on.

I’m sure though that a good trawl around the old Alfasound tapes would still produce a good selection!

A “Guid New Year tae ‘Ane an’ ‘Aw” from Scotland to everyone on JM from me!

Metro had some “Bringing in the New Year – on Metro Radio” cuts in the early ’80s. Similar to some Christmas cuts they had. Most likely made in house, and copies have never turned up anywhere. I wish I could post some!

Quick comment on the Sue Manning…
Did she ever do cuts for Australian stations?
I have a single one on a reel back then from a Sydney station, and the “sound” is very similar.
