i just had a confirmation e-mail saying that my order has been shipped already!

Yup… Those that the credit card clearing house already cleared shipped tonight. Hopefully the rest will clear by the morning… and the rest will go out. All shipping is by USPS Priority Mail (International or Domestic). Based on past experiences, those in the UK should have the ones shipped today by Monday.

Interestingly enough the BBC Radio Cleveland masters that the station had were wiped by a trainee journalist who mistook the reel for a general spare reel and used it to practice his reporting techniques.

“Please Note: You MUST order a minimum of 3 reference copies or your order will be cancelled. ” So you cant just have 'one' then?

These aren't reference copies… These are produced composites. That's if you want to order individual station references… which is a bit labor intensive. You can order any quantity of other stuff as you see fit.

Isn't that always the case. Or — the station changed format and no one thought they were of any importance. Or, the station moved and the masters weren't seen since the move… or… I could tell you a thousand stories I've heard or witnessed over the years.
