Sorry if I upset admin regarding my post earlier, but my point was… and indeed I did mention it in my post, with the new re-launch of Smooth, no doubt we will be hearing a whole new set of jingles to carry the new strap line. Hard to talk about jingles and not shape it into the context of the radio station and format changes.
Not sure why ‘admin’ felt the need for censorship? You said “a new strapline…. Your Relaxing Music Mix”.
As a station which dominates much of the market (geographically) its actions over choosing identification are VERY much relevant here. And with new dj’s who were a tennis player, a soap actress and a ‘pop’ singer, it should give scope for some different style jingles?!?
