In the UK with have Heart extra xmas, which sadly in terms of jingles, leave a lot to be desired – a standard Heart extra jingle can be heard every now and then with a few sleigh bells thrown in!

However in the Netherlands, Sky Radio still know how to do it properly. Admittedly, I preferred the JAM and Top Format jingles of Christmas past, but the Wise Buddah Xmas jingles on Sky Radio pretty good.

This year it’s still the 2017 set that are being used, although they have introduced a new TOTH cut as can be heard in this off-air recording:

Personally, I abhor jingles that end on a single, short truncated beat, like that.

Two beats (nominally) lets the jingle “flow” better into whatever is coming up next.
JMW knows that.
