…indeed…am I too late now to order a JAM cut for “My Christmas Present To Myself” for this year?

Great lyrics and cut choice!Thank You–This cut was SUPPOSED to be part of my October order–but there was difficulty in finding the “Backing Track”-which delayed it until a few days ago.

IMHO–Everyone should order some sort of present for themselves–after all, if you don’t care for yourself–who will?

We’re always reasonably generous to family, etc at Christmas (or at least try to be!)
Here in Scotland, traditionally Christmas was really “just for children”, with Hogmanay (New Year) the
proper Scottish Winter Celebration for Grown-Ups, but like everywhere else its been Americanised
& commercialised into a splurge of far-too-long-lasting gungi-ness.We always try and grab something we fancy for ourselves as treats at the “New Year Sales”
– which now start on…”Black Friday”. November! …come on!
Ugh!A few years ago though, “weary” of “I don’t know what to get you for Christmas”, while looking
for presents at a now-gone big Toy Store, we found a HUGE Scalextric (Scalectrix” in Scotland”!) set
made up of loads of end-of-range tracks & accessories for a daft clear-out price – instant harmonious decision! Now, each year after Boxing Day, the “caur track” is brought out, assembled (including a hill-climb
up & down the sofa) all across the living room, and everyone visiting does races on it. Great fun! :^)A modern “family tradition”…
…although looking unlikely this year.
:^(…And now back to our regular (JM) programming!
