I don’t know about anybody else on here, but from time to time I spend time searching the net for jingle related audio and one things usually leads to another……

A few weeks ago I ended up on a Dutch jingle producers’ website that I have never heard of before called Music Bizz Imaging . When I first started listening to the demos they didn’t really grab me, that is until I started hearing re-sings of Thompson Creative cuts!!

The best one out of the bunch for me is Radio 5FM Demo.mp3, which is a re-sing of Thompson Creative’s “Jammin’ Hits!” package.

Does anybody know the background behind this company? I thought that PORS Impact Creative were the only company licensed to sell Thompson Creative packages in Europe??

Having said that, I realised after I had posted tis thread that I should have put ‘Thompson Creative re-sings” in the title to attract people’s attention.

Anyhow, I just thought I would bump this post and highlight another package on the Music Bizz site, this time Waterstad FM Demo MixIII.mp3 which is a 2006 re-sing of Thompson Creative’s “Houston Mix III”.

It’s quite hard to keep up with all these European jingle companies and the various US producers they represent isn’t it! It probably doesn’t help with Thompson Creative now that some of their back catelogue is split between Bruce Upchurch and Johnny Hooper.

Always good to hear TC re-sings though, so good find Mark. I like the first cut for Radio 5FM, don’t think I’ve heard the original of that one before, very eighties.
