Never new Someplace Special had WIND/WMJX logo vocals. Thanks again for your great archive work.

To be honest, the vocals in the Nerve FM cut are very poor, I hardly understand what they are singing… I first thought they sung ‘You’ve hit the love, Love FM’… It still is a craft, singing jingles.

It wasn’t a good day at Alfa when they produced that vocal track!
What’s even more distressing than the vocal….. is ‘Nerve FM’! Whatever reason for that name is just not good enough

Seems it was, and still is, a student station, so maybe not a very big budget?

Oddly enough, one of the student founders is a name a few JMers and radioland people might well recognise today

It didn’t seem to matter on those dreadful Shaun Tilley Seventies Heaven re-sings though! 😖
I was waiting for them to ‘sing’ WABC……. 😂
