NEW from Wise Buddha – new jingles with a strapline and new logo – They’ve ditched the 105.4 from the end logo which worked in London but nationally just sounded a bit empty and pointless. 10 cuts and utilities! so a bit more than the usual 7. Given that the production on Bauer is pretty dreadful nice to hear good production and jingles for Magic. Not going to go down well with some traditionalists but I think they sound quite nice and a stronger logo.

This package reminds me a bit of some of the slower cuts on Signal “Setting the Pace” by Alfasound. One word, two syllables. A Jam custom would sound good on Magic.

I’ve been quite surprised that this topic has taken so long to appear on JM.

The cuts to me aren’t too bad at all, although the number of notes in the logo instrumentally are fixed yet
the melody is sometimes sung to one note less.

Good point about the old Signal package – that was quite sideways in style for Alfa at the time.

PS – doesn’t the “brand new sonic logo” sound uncannily like that from JAM’s “Best Show”…
…I immediately thought “The Best Sound in Jersey…”!
