Just spotted that the historical radio packages section of the GrooveWorx website has been updated with a few more packages:
      https://grooveworx.com/radio/historical-radio-packages/

The most notable addition is the second package for 100.7 Heart FM in the Midlands from 1998, although admittedly this was less notable than the “My! My! My! Grrenville” re-sings from 1995:

      Take a look.

Well spotted! Nice to see the Red Dragon resings of the Invicta FM package. I remember buying the Capital 2003 CD from Grooveaddicts at the time.

Just spotted GrooveWorx have added a 2001 package for Heart 106.3 to the historical radio packages section of their web site:
            https://grooveworx.com/heart-fm/

Don’t recall this package ever airing, but wasn’t Heart using Vibe Music Imaging (Music4) at this time?

I’ve not heard either the 1998 or 2001 Heart packages as presented there ever before.

Sorry, but I do have to say – the “SINGING” is utterly dire on ALL of them !!!!
              Ugh!

Unfortunately Iain regardless of music format it seems this what British radio programmers want their Jingles to sound like.

Admittedly on some modern dance urban r&b stations these jingles can work.

Though I don’t like the cuts with long ramp beds going whooo yeaaaahh ohhhhh like they’ve got indigestion or belly ache lol!

On some formats these types of jingles can stick out like a sore thumb and not fit well with the music played.

But each to their own I guess.

Sadly these jingles are not as memorable or catchy anymore and people don’t remember them sadly.

That said it is great these jingles have been put online for collectors who want to hear them.

Iain: no need to be ‘sorry’ about the singing…

M Hodgey: “Don’t recall this package ever airing, but wasn’t Heart using Vibe Music Imaging (Music4) at this time?”

Might this be a small set made as a ‘pitch’ (unsuccessfull) to get the work? In my experience solo sings (like those) take about 4 minutes each.

The saddest thing is that many station jingles STILL sound just like this YEARS later- synthetic and no imagination or ‘fun’!

I think Len is right as these were never aired, certainly in the Midlands. Shame they’ve not put the 1995 cuts on there for 100.7 Heart FM as they were pretty decent (desperately seeking this complete package…)

They’ve also got the year wrong in the BRMB one as I’m sure those were mid-90s and not 2000.
