MemberSo, I just posted an old TM demo (Flashpoint) I recently found in another thread…and wanted to share some other “goodies” I unearthed.
First, in the not-too-distant past, TM released “Wild Card.” I am sure ALL of you have heard the demo for WBLI. However, I bet most of you have NOT heard the original demo. This was sent out BEFORE they got a pilot station. So, enjoy a slew of stations that NEVER ran Wild Card

Second, this MAY be the EARLIEST demo I have for Thompson Creative – dating back to 1986! I’ve always loved these cuts, too. Was this TC’s humble beginnings? Enjoy Power Basics!

While Thompson’s first real first pkg was “94 Q”, POWER BASICS and BLASTERS were bought/traded/bartered away from Century 21 who marketed these same packages previously. They were not included into the “new” Century21 sound that came shortly after. Other C21 packages went to Broadcast Programming of Seattle that did little with them.

A-HA! I thought that was a C21 package. Well, here’s a bit of trivia: Thompson’s “94Q” was the FIRST jingle package I EVER played on the radio! I haven’t thought about that in YEARS.

Jeffrey, Thanx for that 94Q resing for WYCL; got more???
The 94Q demo package used a very different vocal arrangement; it seems like it was never repeated, either in resings of that package or any other package. More males? More echo? Can’t put my finger on it.

MemberAuthorOK, the jingles just keep on comin’…….
A while back, there was a request for the FULL demo of JAM’s “Power Station.” (The one with all the CAU cuts after the PLJ versions.) Found it!

While we’re playing CAU stuff, here’s an extremely muddy 16th generation dub of a RARE Hitradio 2 demo for WCAU-FM. (NOTE: a country styled cut NOT available on any other HR2 demo!)

And let’s keep the Hitradio 2 theme goin’. Here’s the original demo for KKHR. Nowadays, all you hear is the KREO version.
