Here’s an off-stream montage of Power Intros from the Studio Brussel ‘listen again’ pages.

Most of them work really well, with a strong sonic logo that’s mixed (sometimes very subtly) into a lot of the songs. The ‘artist drops’ mention the station’s name, which I think makes a bit difference. Notable that nearly all their branding is in English (obvs Ed Sheeran etc aren’t going to spout Flemish for them).

I think the first two work particularly well. Also, the station policy is ‘No Sung Jingles’ AFAIK. Not sure if they’re made in-house, or a company like Pure, or a mixture…? Whatever, they’re the best branding I’ve heard for a while.

Love both of these mixes. I’ve always enjoyed power intros, and these sound great. Thanks for posting. G

Geoff, you might enjoy this interview/Podcast. They start talking about the Power Intros around 23 minutes in, for about 10 minutes. The whole chat is quite interesting, discussing media in Belgium in general.
