Memberwhat a pity the radio rewind jingles are of such low quality.
check out jingles4u.
loads of high quality jingles now online for radio 1 and radio 2.a couple of years for each station are not online yet.
i've just downloaded radio 1 jingles from 76,78,80,82,84,90 (i have these anyway but there's lots of extra cuts which i didnt have),and i also downloaded radio 2 jingles from 80,84,97 (other years are available aswell.some not yet online).July 27, 2007 at 10:55 am #31612nickpledge

Well on the jingles4u site some of the 1994 package are available to download. Sadly all of those i have, but there's a slight mistake. The one labeled sport was in fact the old weather bed. Cant remember a sport bed back then.

MemberIts nice to see Jingles4U on-air again – but I do have to
express surprise at the HUGE amount of Radio 1 and 2
material there! And in good quality (for MP3).But surely not wise to have what looks like entire CDs of
JAM material (including mix-outs galore) posted up there???July 30, 2007 at 10:01 pm #31676nickpledge
Who runs it? I have tried emailing a few times and heard nothing.

i'm glad as they're the sorts of jingles i'm missing.the one i've been wanting for ages (and now have thanks to jingles4u) was the 'send a request we can play on the air' instrumental.

Ok they are classic packages but go to Zone or JonesTM or Reelword and you can download the Individual tracks including the ALT Mixes
The last Top Format Demo 2 CD's one of them was nothing but individual Cuts !
All of the cuts have the station sing at the Station Name at the end so I can't see anything wrongJuly 31, 2007 at 5:33 pm #31700IainJohnston
MemberI must confess I bagged as many mix-outs as I could while it was
there – even though I have a couple of the CDs myself (as in
bought when they were for legitimate sale…) as there did
seem to be some versions not on some of the “official” released copies! So whoever jingles4u was (and hopefully still is) they
must have had some inside track somewhere? That
might be why they were pulled?“i'm missing.the one i've been wanting for ages (and now
have thanks to jingles4u) was the 'send a request we can
play on the air' instrumental.”Likewise Mike! even though I have other station versions.
Martin – yes, other contemporary companies do put all
their mix-outs on their on-line demos (and they can be
recorded on to one's PC from the flashplayer etc). But
to me they all sound the same, and I don't really keep
them for long, after all, there will be another identical-sounding
package along in a minute! – BUT n-amount of entire CDs-worth
of classic JAM on the other hand I suspect IS another matter!July 31, 2007 at 5:51 pm #31701Ian
MemberWhilst I don't have a website, I do have a fairly extensive list of radio 1 jingles.
As so many of you on here have shared with me over the last 3 years, I am happy to return the favour as I truly believe that is what this site is about. Sharing.
Attached is a copy of my list, so anyone who wants anything, just e-mail
iandarnold@yahoo.co.ukHappy browsing

Just pm me or e-mail for a copy of my list.July 31, 2007 at 7:12 pm #31707Mike Stand
Not really any great surprise that Jingles4u gets taken down once people start discussing how much JAM material there is on it on this forum!!!
I'd be very surprised if Mr Jingles4u hasn't had an email from a certain Mr Wolfert in Dallas today…

jingles4u in comparision was just a drop in the ocean.July 31, 2007 at 11:17 pm #31713nickpledge

Member“then how come jinglemad.com is still online? there's bucket loads of JAM online here.
jingles4u in comparision was just a drop in the ocean.”I suspect that JW as a jingle collector himself doesn't
mind people sharing a montage or two, or a small
selection of cuts out on as server, or a whole package
swapped privately……but over 20 years worth of it put out in one vast
heap I think would be understandably a bit over the
score – remember e.g. TM/century has a controlled
archive release via TopCat – if suddenly a huge amount
of TM archive appeared in a similar manner I'm sure
that would be addressed in the same way by the
Copyright owners and their licencees.Worth remembering – don't kill “Golden geese!”

MemberI for one think it's a shame if has it been pulled like most probably here got alot of material i never had from my collection, i was Eagerly awaiting rad1 '94 & rad2 '03 updates (which i have been chasing for ages) [/color] x) Looks though my wait may be in vain – unfortunately.
Yes probably would have been best for site to upload a few chunks at a time as well as removing some, it did seem to post whole packages at once – although some pages had extra bits put on from original posting, like the rad1 '90
Anyone who may have missed the jingle blitz available – email me, i will send lists of what i got, happily send any you may require
