I’m not much of a country music listener but I had a package a few years back from KYGO…late 80’s early 90’s I think… and it had a woman singing (who is probably some big country star or should be) singing some of the signature lines.

Does any body have that package or has it been posted some where?

      Thanks.

I would have to pull the package and listen to it. Do you know if it was a Jam Package or a TM Package? Typically Janie Frickie she was a big time singer in the 60’s, 70’s and early 80’s. She sang recently on the WSM 650AM Pride Custom Package from TM. Her and Jim Clancy were both packages and it sounded wonderful.

I’m not sure…I want to say the slogan they used at the time (that they could still be using for all I know and therefore not eb helping in picking the package I’m thinking of) was “Continious Country” but I could be wrong.

Don’t go nuts trying to find it. It would make sense to me though that the singer who sang it was or went on to be a professional cause she was great but they made no reference to her durng the demo…which I would think might be a selling point to country station PD’s.

          Oh well…thanks

They wouldnt nessecerially advertise that they have a former country celeberity singing in their package. I know that the Demo for the Pride Package didnt advertise the fact that Janie Frickie and Jim Clancy were singing in that package at all. I am going to rattle a few cages and see if I can figure it out.

Just to correct the above that Janie Frickie is mentioned on the demo

I am not sure its Jim clancy as a solo as he normally provides the deep bass voice at the end of the cuts

anyway you can listen to this demo on the TM Site

Wow! I just listened to the one on TM’s site and it mentioned Janie Frickie. Then i listened to the one on my computer and it didnt. I think I have the original demo, and they have since updated it.
