Good morning everyone!
Here's a recording of KIMN Jingles (Best Show Series 2) by JAM. I found it while looking for something else on the Web, yesterday evening. However, I was quite disappointed by the quality of sound (poorly mp3 compressed…).
If anybody would be ready to share a better version of it with me, please let me know.
Thank you!

November 6, 2008 at 11:45 am #63141IainJohnstonMemberThierry, that is a classic example of how un-educated use of MP3 (or any other
file-compression software) can totally ruin an analogue-based recording by
generating unwanted artifacts! This isn't KIMN, but a UK version I (legally) bought Archive CD dubs of, that many
JM'ers have since downloaded or have had extracts/copies of…

“Merci beaucoup, du fond du coeur!” *With a big hug in bonus!
Really: thank you guys! I cannot ask for more.

November 7, 2008 at 1:10 pm #63175LenGroatThis was just a fabulous package….
The first time I was able to go to JAM (after the MU regulations changed) I bought about 5 cuts from BS2 as part of a large set for Trent /Leicester Sound
The 'brassy shotgun' at .27 is straight out of the 'Priority One' style.. GREAT to use, the slight 'pause' in the energy reinforces the last word
The cut at .50 is just so usable and musical, brilliantly written, played and sung
the 'mini song' at 1.17 is also very strong and we did what some might call a 'cheesey' Christmas version as well..
Happy (JAM) Days….

I do recall hearing “The Best Show 2” WNAV version on Jingle Mad.
Would love to hear that one again.

November 8, 2008 at 12:08 am #63187LenGroatI enjoyed hearing those 'station versions' Dave ~ THANKS
and good to hear how JAM managed to keep the same soloists on the actual syndicated versions..
QUALITY
November 8, 2008 at 7:47 pm #63198BigdaveAs everybody knows,my first ever JAM cut was cut 17 from this package, and it was directly influenced by hearing it on Trent and Channel 103 – both great users of it.
The big thrill was a couple of days after posting it on here,Bruce Upchurch sent me a message to say how good it was to hear work he'd been involved with was still making people want to relyric it for use – 22yrs after the original had been made.
