Up here in Northwestern Pennsylvania, I do some DX’ing of the AM band at night and some get rewarded with something interesting.

Here a “Real Music, Real Life.. JOY FM” jingle on WKNV-AM 890 Fairlawn, Virginia which is a simulcast of the Joy FM Contemporary Christian Music Network, based in Charlotte North Carolina and spread through out North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee & Virginia

That’s WLS Chicago in the background getting beat up quite nicely by the WKNV signal that did NOT sign off at sunset like it’s required by the FCC to do.

I happened to be recording because I wanted to send a short clip or two over to the station so they could hear what they sounded like and how they were damaging WLS’ signal. Was pretty neat to hear the jingle
