Here’s a 4 minute 15 second jingle montage I put together using some stuff I’ve never posted, some rare stuff and some old favorites I’ve posted before.

A fair portion of the stuff is stuff I recorded off the air or off a webstream, some stuff I downloaded from websites (like bostonradio.org and tophour.com) and a few things were given to me by friends. One jingle in this montage was given to me directly by the radio station.

One jingle cost me a few $$ to get and took 2 or 3 years to arrive in my mailbox! (Can you guess which one that was??)

LOL I like a guessing game, but since no one guessed the right answer to my question “Which jingle cost me $$ and took almost 3 years to arrive in my mailbox?” I’ll give y’all the answer..

Listen at 1 minute 12 seconds in for “Radio Tristan 90.5”. That is from Tristan Da Cunha, an island of 300 people in the South Atlantic Ocean.

            From wikipedia:

“It is the most remote inhabited archipelago in the world, lying 2,000 kilometres (1,200 mi) from nearest inhabited land, Saint Helena, 2,400 kilometres (1,500 mi) from the nearest continental land, South Africa, and 3,360 kilometres (2,090 mi) from South America.

the station is on 93.5 now with 25 watts for 2 or 3 hours every Sunday late morning.

I got an actual cassette tape aircheck which took 2 or 3 years of trying, including a lost package and a few $ for return postage to get.
