For some of my jingle lovin’ friends, here’s a 13 minute montage of jingles I put together over a year ago. It features stations like KVSH 940, KBRX 102.9, WGGH 1150, WSLV 1110, KLAN 93.5/KLTZ 1240, WNMB 900, WFBO 93.3 & “Christian Hit Radio” AM 1590 WABV

Nice montage of jingles right there :)

It was good to hear a WCFG re-sing of JAMs WABC #121 sneaking in @ 2m48s-2m58s.

        Great stuff.

That is “WZFG” in the Fargo, North Dakota market.

was just about to say that. I also loved the W-Won WWON cut in there. are they still using that, or are they using something different. there are a few jam stations you might be interested, all in the upper Michigan area, they are, WMKD, WSOO, WNBY, WYSS. the rest are others, WYYS in Streator, IL, KEYF in Spokane, WA, WVRC in west Virginia, WHLM in Bloomsberg, PA, and WLQK in Livingston, TN.

Thanks for taking the time to make this – most enjoyable. In the perfect quality digital era, it’s nostalgic to hear these in the clutter of the airwaves ~ it makes the good ones REALLY jump out.

The end of WABC #121 must be one of the most tongue-twisting sings a client ever asked JAM to do!

                  Much enjoyed that! :)

OK, obviously slightly ‘classic’ rather than “recorded off air just this decade” (i.e. not a screetch or screaming reverb to be heard – the Christmas cut doesn’t count – it was a do-it-yourself one from the RW website), but always jingles get a bit more “interesting” when done for stations away from the Top 10 (or even 50…) US markets.

And nice to hear the old “WKRP Cincinatti” TV comedy “jingle” re-done for an actual station :)

ian, there’s more where that came from on that WKRP redo. I’ve heard one redone for a morning show, which I think still gets used, it’s did for WCOL-FM in Columbus, OH.
