Afternoon all from a very wet Oxford Street !
Hope you all had a good ‘un – nice to see so many good friends again in the George . BTW the shouts, the draw and some general goings on were filmed yesterday, so I’ll let people have a copy as soon as I get back to Sheffield.
BTW the buy of the weekend is the “Bullseye in my pocket” machines from HMV. Robin leads the way,but now I’ve bought one and if you were listening to Hirsty this morning, he’s got one as well! Well worth it – they’re super, smashing, great….
And for those who didn’t make it to Leicester Square, here’s what you missed…..

In the words of Mastercard…
A One Day Travelcard – £4.70
A pint in Yates,Leicester Square – £3
Meeting Katy Hill in the flesh and seeing Robin’s face – Priceless!August 22, 2005 at 11:28 am #26071BigdaveAfternoon all from a very wet Oxford Street !

It was just a shame no one had a camera on them at that time!
And following the discussion we had, as if it couldn’t get any better I have found out that Incognito are performing at the Forum in London in October so JD3 will for me be the first of one many top nights out in London!
Hope to see everyone again at JD4 which as suggested by Martin could be held in Leicester Square especially with the good weather we had yesterday.
I’d better go and lie down…

August 23, 2005 at 8:17 pm #25077mbMemberIt was nice to see everyone on Sunday and the table of CD’s looked very exciting as I turned up and added my own little gift pack.
I still think some of the regulars must have wonder what what the hell was going on as ten guys all squeeze downstairs together!!!!
Hope you all like the mixes, I’ve nearly listened to them all and everyone had a few of those “ohhhhh I’ve not heard that” things which are those extra little things that make an anorak very happy.

August 23, 2005 at 8:54 pm #25078GrahamCollinsFor those interested the shouts have been uploaded to the ‘anoraks’ part of the downloads section and will be available once they’ve been vetted for taste, decency, sound and smell……………
Next year – the cleaner’s cupboard.

Glad everyone had a great time! I was planning to arrive in style with logs of goodies to give out but sadly couldn’t make it at the last minute. Families huh, who’d av um?!
I’ve just approvd the shouts in the download section – sounding great guys! And many thanks for the website of the nite shout – it will be used on 107 The Bee from October if I can get away with it!!
Thanks to Dave for collecting the mix-downs for me – I hope to get them in the post any day now! Anyone take any photos?
