I have always been a big fan of the Q95/WKQI series JAM produced for the station in Detroit, I thought from 1989 until mid 90s.

Top Format resang the packages for several stations in Icelandic, Portugese, French, Dutch, German, Norwegian and many other languages. They were used for AC (Antenne Niedersachsen, sign on in 1990), Hot AC (Radio 102 Norway) and even CHR (Voltage FM France).

I hope this compilation shows how timeless those cuts are:

Great compilation Marc! Also here a foreign resing near the end of a Jingle that was on Beacon Radio in Wolverhampton!

          Great montage Marc.

I remember many of those cuts re-sung for my local station Hallam FM back in the good old days when JAM jingles were on the air everywhere! :)

          Thanks for sharing.

“remember many of those cuts…when JAM jingles were on the air everywhere!”

Certainly Q Cuts etc were flogged to many stations in the UK by Steve England / Alfasound – when
travelling down from Scotland through England could hear them on almost each alternate “patch”
and even on overlap in some TSAs.

Definately were particular JAM items that suited the UK commercial radio style at that time.
            :^)
