Just had a Sky Radio jingle day, forgot I had the Omnitrax resings from 1989 and lots more JAM sings. Here`s a tiny montage of the Sky Radio stuff I have in my ID collection, as ever, enjoy !

Nice montage!

Sky started of with Omnitrax, as we can hear. In 1994 when they wanted a sequel JAM couldn't provide it because no American station ordered a sequel. So for the first time a station from the European continent went to JAM to do a brand new custom package: SkyTrax.

The demo JAM put out was sung for WLTE Lite FM 103. Since then Sky had an annual follow up, sung bilangualy (station name and slogans in English, frequencies in Dutch).

I think it's one of the oldest logo melodies still in use (1989-2007) in Europe…

Thanks for commenting guys on the Sky montage…what I found curious, having listened to all the Sky master dubs, the cut at the end of the montage “music without all the blah, blah, blah…” there are TEN mixouts of that “blah” jingle but only two of them made it to air.
