I`ve just got some “senator” jingles by JAM for my collection, thanks to a collector in Virginia, USA.
One of the jingles is for a senator called Phil Hayes and the JAM singers, sing these words…
“Bye bye so long, Vance Harkey bye bye…
Will we see you in November ? or loose you to the uncommitted vote ?
Will we see you in November ? well maybe, Harkey hopefully we won`t…
I`M CONGRESSMAN PHIL HAYES AND I`M RUNNING AGAINST VANCE HARKEY…..WHEN I`M YOUR SENATOR, I DON`T WANT A PRICE TAG ON INDIANA`S VOTE IN THE SENATE…
Bye bye so long, Vance Harkey bye bye…”
I wonder if jingles will ever be used in the UK for our political parties, something like…
“Bye bye so long, Gordon Brown bye bye…
Will we see you in (insert date) ? or loose you to the uncommitted vote ?
Will we see you in (insert date) ? well maybe, (insert leader of your choice) hopefully we won`t…
I`M (insert name) LEADER OF THE (insert name) POLITICAL PARTY…AND I DON`T WANT A PRICE TAG ON GREAT BRITAIN`S VOTE IN PARLIAMENT…
Bye bye Gordon Brown bye bye…”
Just a thought !
