Hey Everyone!

I am a huge fan of sung jingles over the intros of songs, and I was reading on the Jam site that on the “Z+” Demo CD, they offered Power Intros…

This is exactly what is on the description of that demo CD:

“Z+”

This was a limited edition CD of our “Z+” demo and “Power Intros” service. It was only used at a convention and for a mail-out. (1998)

Does anyone have any of the tracks that feature the Power Intros? I have produced power intros using the Z+ package for KVFX in Utah, but I was hoping that someone might have that demo availiable, and could post the audio up here…

This is the demo I have. I believe it's the one you're talking about. Gotta be around 10 years old now! I think the CD it came from is still available in the UK from Steve England. It's from ID collection Volume 1.

These aren't power intros as we know them but Jam were doing song intros way before the late 90s.

Wow, I remember when Z100 used these on the air. Some great memories coming back there.

We don't air the Jam Z+ package cut-by-cut anymore… We will occasionally throw in a shotgun when we are playing a good ol' song from the 90's during the weekend. We use the Z+ vocals on all of the power intros we produce, so in a way, we still use the package quite a bit…

Right now, we are using the Kiss Boston 2003 package from Reelworld… the Jam vocals just sound better on the power intros though…
