VOA Music Mix use JAM –
July 18, 2008 at 1:14 pm #60544GlennaMemberSirius Radio 6005 – 6006.
In fact I heard a new { I think } Cousin Brucie sonovox promo the other day.
In which the word JAM was mentioned a couple of times.
Most likely in the music jam sense.
But who knows.July 18, 2008 at 8:40 pm #60551ratnobMemberAgree – those WLS-FM jingles sound great – just the way radio should sound.

I'm sorry, No can do.
I don't have them.
Sorry!
August 24, 2008 at 8:27 pm #61448Maya53Got one!
WKSL from Raleigh, NC. They used some cuts from their old Z100 packages from the '80s. Pretty neat.
August 25, 2008 at 5:48 am #61455coolntHi has anybody got more WLNH jingles, or other resings,i just love the PRO choice package, i actually havent heard any resing until someone posted the WLNH cut.
On topic, here in the Philippines, there is not a single major radio network that doesn't know and didn't air JAM jingles. Though only one network streams online with their JAM cuts. Star FM is playing their JAM jingles for more than a decade already, although they use a Thompson Creative jingle for their TOH.

August 25, 2008 at 3:42 pm #61469mumossI've never heard any other Pro Choice resings either, apart from that one. Does anyone have any more? And does anyone have any idea what other stations got resings?
August 25, 2008 at 11:07 pm #61478jlehmannXM channels 70s on 7, 80s on 8, and 90s on 9 definitely use JAM. I'll post some sometime in the next few days. There may be others using them too, I think I heard one once on the “Chrome” channel. Around Christmas, “Holly” and “Holiday Traditions” also use JAM. I think I may have posted these a couple years back. With the merger of Sirius and XM, there's sure to be some changes soon, so I'll try to record as much as I can, before any changes are made. I think some of the Sirius decades channels use JAM also, but I'm not sure.
August 27, 2008 at 3:18 am #61504BarrasThanks for the information Jeff and thanks also for posting some examples here…

November 16, 2008 at 6:38 pm #63507Maya53UGH! I hate the new Q92.9 package already, they sound too outdated. Makes me want to change the station if I ever hear one cut. I listened to the station online and they play those annoying jingles between songs. It reminds me of a station I used to listen to back in the early 90's.
On the bright note, about the jingles that is being used on Rhythmic AC station WKSL from Raleigh, NC, the packages I have known they are using are Flame Thrower and Warp Factor. I'll try to record them off stream and upload them here if I have a chance.
November 16, 2008 at 8:19 pm #63515mjb1124MemberDon't think anyone's mention another “Q” – WRBQ in Tampa Bay. They're using '80s JAM cuts from their Top 40 days. Just heard the Turbo Z TOH.
November 16, 2008 at 11:21 pm #63523BarrasMike,
thanks for letting us know that Q105 in Tampa Bay are using JAM jingles. I`m rolling tape (well, Adobe Audition) to grab the TOH cut from Turbo Z. Got some WRBQ jingle packages in my collection, if you would like to trade for them here`s what I have…

JAM – Q105 Christmas Kit (package)
JAM – Q105 Hit Radio (package)
JAM – Q105 Flamethrower (package)
JAM – Q105 Positron (package)

November 17, 2008 at 1:46 pm #63532LenGroatGREAT to hear those WRBQ (Q105) JAM cuts again…
I recorded these onto a small cassette machine as I lay on the beach near Tampa..
it was in 1992 !!
It PROVES a great jingle can go onandon..
I think (?) they went country, and goodness knows what happened after that?
The Breakfast show was 'Mike & Bo' when I heard it…
Thought you might like the info…
Also in 1992 I visited 'The Power Pig', (yes I got the 't' shirt / still have it !) and Q92, which was all oldies then, with TM jingles.
November 17, 2008 at 8:13 pm #63546jlehmannThey are using them on the air again with their oldies/classic hits format.

.
Our first visit to Florida was in 1993 and like you Len, I jingle airchecked too, not in Tampa but on Daytona Beach !
We were actually staying in Orlando and the first FLA station I airchecked was WFIV in Kissimmee. Managed to visit the station and Mickey Booth (the dj on-air that evening) kindly dubbed me the WFIV jingles from the studio carts.

November 18, 2008 at 11:59 pm #63559rakMemberAlas, my first trip to Florida was in 1991, and driving down the Keys I came across this station with superb sonovox JAM jingles – Miami's Y100! Sadly I didn't have anything to record them with.
Those Y100 jingles are still one of my Holy Grails…
Also heard Q105 driving round St Pete's and Tampa.
