        Thanks

Great PAMS and JAM jingles…… AND a tight dj who knows how to use them! And not often you hear ‘Philadelphia Story’ cuts; I’m guessing they are original not later re-sings?

most of these were the originals, a few resings

According to the JAM website, they have KNLV-AM listed:

Back in early 2012, I had the opportunity to visit the WAKY-FM studios in Elizabethtown, KY. Here is some video I shot of Mr. Johnny Randolph doing a weather break using JAM jingles:

I do a weekly radio show on HitOldies (www.hitoldies.com) and here is a video of me using a JAM accapella on my show from last week.

Also of note, WAKY and Big Cat 105-5 WLVK (which also uses JAM) are sister stations.

I realize this thread is mostly about current day airchecks. However, there’s a new addition to the JAM On The Air page at http://www.jingles.com which you may enjoy. Scroll down to the 1981 section, and take a look at the last item for that year. It will demonstrate what you would have heard on a long driving trip across the eastern half of the USA during the fall of that year. Please read the comments there for more info.

Of course, while you’re there feel free to check out any of the other aircheck items which you may have missed.

, my kind of montage! you’ll never know what’s gonna appear next! a couple of questions. 1: to clarify, on the express pack cut for fm100, was this WMC-FM?
2: what package was that being used on WJBQ? and, this is what this was before the start of g98, a station in which you guys did as well.
3: another clarification, k104, was this WSPK? if not, what was that station, and what city of license.
love the CIL-FM cut, those are cuts are one of those on my “jam in the clear stations” cuts list. ever since i heard CIL on the montage of thsis same sroad trip from coast to coat in he late 80’s. is their anyone that has the CIL cuts in the clear?

i have another set of clothes packed for a coast to coast trip, if you should ever do one!

                                Yes.

what package was that being used on WJBQ?

The cut heard in the montage is from “I’d Rather Be In Denver”.

                                k104, was this WSPK?

No. It’s WCCK in Erie, PA. Your clue was the baseball score given before the jingle. :)

                                Thanks for listening.

new format, great jingles! KWNZ-FM in Lovelock,/reno, NV is a new jam client, using jam, just heard Hot Kiis at the top of the hour, and, it just came on at 1:06 and 30 seconds. this is a new format, more of a classic hits format.

here’s what a bit of DAR can do. this may be off-topic, but there’s something I find in common. in Alabama, there are 2 markets where dallas shares the same office space, meaning 2 stations, most likely sisters use the same jingle company if you will. one being Montgomery, AL, where TM is heard on WBAM, and WLWI, different packages, but most likely a sister station, both owned by cumulus media, I think. however, WBAM is using Texas country, whereas WLWI uses number 1 country. this same thing goes with the Dothan/Enterprise, AL area. 2 sisters, and Jam shares the office space. the only difference, is the format, and cities of license. WECB, is the main one today of the office half i’m sharing with you today.

“sister stations…Jam shares the office space”

I’m not quite understanding what you mean by this Tyrone.
Could you maybe elucidate a wee bit please? :)

I gather that this refers to situations where there are two (or more) stations under the same ownership, in the same city, using the same jingle company. For example, here in the New York area, you’ve got WCBS-FM and WFAN, both owned by CBS and using JAM jingles.

if you guys didn’t catch KBOQ yet, this may be the last chance to get the jingles. it looks like a CHR is coming in the near future, so catch it while you can. I already did my catching.

I have a set of JAM talk/sport cuts from WOOD AM , and the Soft Sensations “EZ” for FM, as sent to me by the station a few years back. And even the T-shirt!

                                              Will post when possible.
