don’t forget WBPM
September 25, 2012 at 7:53 am #86533tyty21being the jam fan i am, i believe some point in time, WBYY in Summersworth, NH was a big jam client. they were using some KOST packages, then they switched to the Soft Sensation package, i think, the check i have sounds like the WJYE logo. however, i assume they’re still with jam. someone check it out, it’s streaming.
September 25, 2012 at 8:38 pm #86554jlehmannWBYY now uses TM jingles.
October 23, 2012 at 6:11 pm #86831BarrasWLX “Power 97.5” Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, USA are using JAM jingles.
November 2, 2012 at 6:46 pm #86908mjb1124MemberWFAN New York has added an FM simulcast, which has led to new resings of their long-running JAM New York Fan package.
November 2, 2012 at 10:22 pm #86916IainJohnstonMemberConsidering that the 101.9 FM-ing of ‘FAN appears to have been a fairly rapid decision (from a choice of options for CBS after the panic sell-off / LMA by Merlin after the WEMP “FM news” debacle, and the much-shuffling of New York radio ownership lately), plus the use of FM sister stations during the current NY emergency due to big AM towers having been off-air (and even mangled by the storm…), and 101.9 thus being now simulcast with 660 kHz earlier than apparently planned, it would look like JAM have been asked to work their socks off here to deliver urgently – and clearly HAVE done “just what the client asked for” – so well done JMW et al! >
November 21, 2012 at 1:14 am #87164mjb1124MemberLife coach Michele Mattia got JAM to do the theme for her new online radio show, “The Life’s Dash”. You can hear it at the beginning of her first show here:

December 4, 2012 at 2:44 am #87318tyty21here we go again! KKLZ is the next client for that new custom classic hits package.
December 4, 2012 at 4:35 am #87319mjb1124MemberKKLZ has a new custom? Or are you referring to the DRC-FM package? They’ve been using the TOH and at least one other cut from that package, along with some Positron and Pro/Mod resings and their older Home of the Hits cuts.
December 4, 2012 at 8:00 am #87321tyty21i was refering to the WDRC package. i got a slew of jingles.
December 4, 2012 at 8:31 pm #87327mjb1124MemberJanuary 27, 2013 at 8:50 am #88418tyty21as said before, WRMO is using jam, that was when they were a classic hits format leaning AC station. now, it’s more of a mainstream AC station, now streaming, still using jam, using digital mix.
January 30, 2013 at 11:06 am #88456tyty21let’s make my new soundcloud skill 2 for 2! this is a short sample from last year from WOCL
WOCL short jingle montage by tyronethompsonJanuary 30, 2013 at 11:54 am #88457gameswizardMemberSome nice Sunny FM cuts there
January 30, 2013 at 1:26 pm #88459IainJohnstonMemberIntriqueing! Must be the first time in years that I’ve heard a “City of License” actually sung in sonovox!
Do US listeners not become “confused” though when they hear a “station name” that appears to bear absolutely no similarity even remotely to the station’s declared call-letters?
January 30, 2013 at 3:18 pm #88462tyty21well, there was one other cut before this one, i believe it got posted here sometime back, it was the montage of Jam jingles for the CBS clients. and another jingle instance of a sono city sing was for WZPL in indianapolis in 92 or so, with turbo Z. the collalls spar no rsimlance, but i guess this is just a matter of heritage here? like WROW in albany, it’s magic 590, however they kept the WROW calls for history.
January 30, 2013 at 5:00 pm #88464mjb1124MemberThanks Tyrone for posting that. Sunny FM is my favorite “Classic Hits” station out there right now – there’s a really great energy to the station, with a huge variety of jingles! Seems like their PD/morning guy Rick Stacy is “one of us” (I could even kind of tell by the way he used to use jingles when he did weekends at CBS-FM). One might think that Z World and PAMS 31 on the same station would be the makings of a trainwreck, but he makes it work.
I actually just recently created a six-and-a-half minute montage of Sunny FM jingles – some are from my own recordings while others come from aircheckdownloads.com. Tyrone, if it’s okay with you, I’d like to include two cuts from your montage (which weren’t on mine) and post the whole thing to Soundcloud. Thanks!
January 30, 2013 at 5:05 pm #88465tyty21of course MJB! just putting it out there now, if anybody would like to use any material i use, feel free to do so!
January 31, 2013 at 9:48 am #86729tyty21all is not lost over at WODS, WODS-HD2 is using jam, continuing on with where they ended on the main station.
February 1, 2013 at 2:06 am #88479tyty21not only is this jam/pams, it’s basically a jingle fan’s dream! just listen for yourself, and hear this!
February 8, 2013 at 7:01 pm #88600tyty21part of a series, jama in kentuckiana, basically 3 stations in the kentuckiana/ western kentucky and indiana border. this is the western kentucky station, WMJL Marion, KY. this includes the jingles currently used, and a few select cuts from their 2012 holiday imaging.
February 8, 2013 at 7:34 pm #88601gameswizardMemberGreat montage tyty21
The stereo sounds unusual – as though one of the channel has been inverted.
February 9, 2013 at 12:45 am #88609LenGroatTyTy
Thanks.. a GREAT ‘cherry picked’ package from all styles of JAM there.. I love that kind of package!
Those jingles say…. “hey listen, we’re fun, we play great music…”
And LOVE the IRBID cut at 1.22!
February 9, 2013 at 6:53 am #88610dogman849I used to drive out to western KY to hear WMJL. Great sounding jingles!!!
