Thanks Roy, the majority seem to be working okay, any chance you could get them back in" Barras Montages" too ?
http://jinglemad.com/index.php?/topic/753-page-31-tc-nottingham-hospitals-radio-barras-montages/
I realise you mightn`t get them ALL working again, perhaps the last 4 or 5 pages please ?
Where is the actual audio? All I can see is the audio player.

I've cleaned up the html coding for the links. The ones that work, work. However some posts still show the player but the actual audio is dead.

alright, yet another jam station i found, i know they used jam in 2007 and 2008, but i'm not sure about now. the station is WKOA in Lafayette, IN (k105-FM). it's a country station that used "bustin' loose".

MemberI discovered a bunch of ASCAP listings for JAM jingles, including resings for different stations. They have the writers listed, as well as titles for different cuts, and dates are given (perhaps the dates when the station has the rights to the package)? The new KOST package is listed there, and this is a good tool for discovering new stations using JAM.
I discovered that KZRZ (Sunny 98.3) in Monroe, Louisiana is using Up2date. Curiously, I was only able to stream it on my phone and not my computer, so I was unable to record anything.
Also checked out KBOT (Wave 104.1) in Pelican Rapids, Minnesota. I listened for about an hour and all I heard was the same weather cut twice. Sounds like JAM, but I don't recognize the cut.

MemberAnother one discovered through ASCAP…. KGY-FM, "The Sound", on the outskirts of Seattle is using Hot KIIS. Interesting music mix too… not your typical AC station! I guess you can get away with that when you have a tiny signal.

The "Wave" Weather cut is from the Best Mix in Denver. Also, attached is the WKOA jingle from Bustin Loose.

Any chance you could please add to this list and let me know which stations are using JAM these days ?
Contributions welcome, thanks David Barras.
WODS Boston
WOCL Orlando
WCBS New York
WCTK New Providence
Here's one: KOMA Oklahoma City – my new favourite oldies station. Classic 70s hits and classic JAM

MemberAlbany's 105.7 Crush FM (WQSH) has a "90's and More" format, similar to the "Gen X" stations that have popped up recently. Lots of "oh wow" songs that I remember growing up, and some resings of JAM cuts from around the turn of the century that fit the energy of the station.

Thanks for mentioning this and posting the KBOT cut, as stated previously the jingle is by JAM from The Best Mix In Denver package, cut #12. It was used by several stations in the UK. here`s an example from Century 105 in North-West England UK, they used it as their weather cut too.

MemberThanks to those who posted the Century, KOMA, and WKOA jingles – all good listens. I especially love the mix of jingles on KOMA.
Here are some Keyframes resings recorded today on WFMX (Mix 107.9) in Maine. I like the hybrid of cuts 5 and 7 at the TOH.

And…thanks to you "mjb1124" for the recent uploads, always good to hear JAM resings and that`s why I started this thread. I`ve put together another JAM Aircheck montage, this is montage 06…

MemberYou're welcome… here's some JAM sings for "Fox Oldies" WGNY in Newburgh, NY. Most of the cuts are PAMS Series 27 resings – the most common choice for oldies stations, but it's still rare and cool to hear them during regular programming on an over-the-air US station in 2011. There's also some nice acapellas and a weather cut that I don't recognize.

Something out of curiosity, I was on the ASCAP website searching for any new JAM customs that have not been announced on its website, and I just came up with a new package for WWWQ-HD2 out of Atlanta. I know that the HD2 portion for the main station WWWQ will be a simulcast for the new and upcoming adult contemporary station called "Journey 97.9", which has not hit the air as of yet. That station is owned by Cumulus, which also own sister station WNNF "Journey 94.1" out of Cincinnati. It is a new AC station that was launched last month. I listened to their stream and the jingles they were playing sounded a little bit like JAM, but they are not using the full Dallas sounding group like the other packages does. I'm wondering if anyone could help me because the new "Journey" station that is going to launch in Atlanta will be expecting to use JAM. You can listen to the station's stream below:

Maybe this might ring a bell..it sounds like a new JAM custom to me..but not like the older hot AC/CHR packages from years past.

I think this is TM. Can't quite place the package, but I know it is one of the WRQX packages…

Amazing that jingles from 35 years ago still sound incredible today – loads more Positron from JAM in this new KOMA aircheck:

That's what my first thought was too when I heard them. I was actually out in Dayton for Hamvention when the flip happened, so I was able to record it. Still haven't gotten to editing and posting the audio yet…

thanks mjb1124, if you read the previous page maya mentioned "Journey" in Cincinnati (BTW they`re using TM jingles)…
Is the station name "Journey" across the USA ? (i.e. like every city has a KISS or Jack FM) is "Journey" a new name ?

It's a brand that US radio powerhouse Cumulus started up. The one in Cincinnati was the first as far as I know, and Atlanta is second in line. Don't think there are any others at the moment, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Cumulus take the brand to other markets, and other radio conglomerates could follow suit if these stations are successful enough. Of course, 97.9 in Atlanta isn't a very strong signal – it's actually a translator for an HD subchannel. So technically, Journey 97.9 originates from 99.7 WWWQ-HD3.
Here's a "jingle aircheck" of Journey 97.9. The JAM jingles don't actually start until around :37 into the montage, with a looped version of the Skywave top-of-the-hour cut. The entire TOH sequence (including those first 37 seconds) is a minute long – a bit much, methinks. I also have to take issue with them selling the "90's" with a 2000 single by Bon Jovi. I guess their "logic" is that since Bon Jovi had their heyday in the 80's, it evens out? They also used Santana's "Smooth", a song from late 1999 by an artists whose work dates back to the 60's. Doesn't show a whole lot of confidence in 90's music.
All that aside, I don't find their music mix to be particularly exciting compared to some other "Gen X" type stations, and there's no presenters. But it's listenable enough, and the jingles (all Skywave from what I've heard so far) are nice.

Thanks mjb1124 for a very comprehensive and informative answer about "Journey", this station name/identity was new to me and no doubt "Journey" will be on British shores over the next few years i.e. Journey Scotland, Journey North-West, Journey North-East, Journey London etc…
Journey in Atlanta are using JAM jingles, whereas, Journey in Cincinnati are using TM jingles. It`s interesting that two jingle companies using the same radio station brand (Journey) is something jinglewise that doesn`t happen in the UK, for example…Smooth Radio, which has several stations across the UK use the same jingle company on all their stations.
