I just put together an over 22 minute montage of the JAM jingles currently being used on CBS Radio's Oldies/Classic Hits stations. There's probably a few I missed, but most should be in here. Enjoy!
Seems like the file, even at 128K was too big to upload here, so here's the 256K version on mediafire.

Excellent work there Jeff, pure ear candy !
And…what about that sonovox “Sunny” at 13:19, two syllables but really effective…

i totally forgot about another station, i don't know if they're still on, but i know Jam spent a lot of time at KRNO in Reno, NV.

oh yes, nice one jeff! certainly remember hering some of those KOOL cuts! i did here one resing from positron on that station, during a 4 day stay. (jeffro, you remember, right? early to mid september!)

MemberThe only possible omission I can think of is KFRC. I know a few months ago Geoff Barton recorded a jingle off their HD2/internet “classic hits” channel, which Jon Wolfert identified as a JAM resing of a PAMS Energy One cut. I'm not sure if there are more JAM/PAMS cuts on there, or if they actually appear on 1550 KFRC AM, but I felt like this was worth noting.
But otherwise, you've covered all of the CBS “greatest hits” stations with JAM. Loads of great jingles in there… thanks for posting!

Hi. I guess I can refer to myself as “80's guy.” I've been associated with more than one 80's station. Three on-air, one online to be exact. I take MAJOR issue with a station that has the balls to play a “Dover's 80's Channel WAMS” jingle into Leo Sayer's “You Make Me Feel Like Dancing.”At WXXY/Chicago, we DID play a few 1979 and 1990 titles. Though, they were either still on the charts in 1980 or recorded in 1989. So, YES. I'm guilty of breaking the “released in the 80's” rule. But, LEO SAYER??? “You Make Me Feel Like Dancing” was released as a single in May 1976. Come on, guys. A little credibility would be nice.
Hey, 80's Guy takes this stuff seriously!!! (And, he refers to himself in 3rd person.)
I`ve heard 80s stations playing several songs not from the 80`s (BTW not your stations Jeff !) one song that sticks in mind is Elton John & Kiki Dee`s “Don`t Go Breaking My Heart” which was originally out in 1976 and classed as an 80`s song….durrrrrrrrr….

I found another classic hits station using JAM WABC material, at least one cut, but probably more. It's Vinyl 95.3 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

JAM AIRCHECK – WMJE
April 20, 2011 at 6:17 pm #78662tyty21
first off, thanks dave for doing WMJE again. next, nice jingle for CING in ontario. i've started doing streaming myself, (i did stream once, however the sound recorder was a test run.) although i did it with vista, which was a pritty easy task, because i was sharing my sister's computer with grandmother, she has vista, i myself, have windows 7, and it removed the stereo mix option. when i used vista, i could record streams easily with the latest audacity, now, i don't know what i can do. any easy stream recorders i can use?
April 20, 2011 at 6:20 pm #78663tyty21
i was trying to use an easy recording tool or software, but the budget's tight so freeware may be nice.

MemberTyrone, you might want to look at VLC media player which is free opensource software.
I've used this to record web streams direct to a file on my Windows 7 PC.
It's not as simple as recording whatever's playing through your PC speakers as you used to do with Audacity, because you have to tell VLC what the stream URL is so it can connect and capture the data directly to the file. But with a bit of patience it does the trick.

actually, i do have VLC media player, i'll give it a try.

2 more stations i know used, or do use jam. WDMS in Greenville, MS, and WNCL in Milford/Dover, DE. WDMS is a country station, last check i heard they were using “go west,” and WNCL is Classic Hits/oldies with class action.

FYI all the links to uploads made on the old site (I.E. Most of the links in this thread) will now work as I have put the e107_files folder back in it's original place.
Let me know if you find this not to be the case for any files.

Thanks Roy, the majority seem to be working okay, any chance you could get them back in" Barras Montages" too ?
http://jinglemad.com/index.php?/topic/753-page-31-tc-nottingham-hospitals-radio-barras-montages/
I realise you mightn`t get them ALL working again, perhaps the last 4 or 5 pages please ?
