April 23, 2005 at 11:17 pm #24731JingleMadMemberThe Jack FM ‘You’ resings have been on the website for a while now, since last year actually.
They are a great set of jingles. Who would have thought that the package would get a freash lease of life in 2004, especially so long after the original was made back in 1976…

Can I ask people reading this post, the following question……do you think the “Frank Sinatra” cut is a JAM or TM jingle ?
I`m going with JAM but then again !
David

It’s from TM Century.
May 4, 2005 at 5:56 pm #24752freq-kyI take it the James Bond piece is from TM Century as well
There is something else I’m trying to work out which is the “We Play What We Want” song montage.I’m pretty sure what four of them are,but its the fifth one.The first four I believe are;-
WE Will Rock You-Queen
PLAY-J-Lo
Susie Wants Her All Day WHAT-Extreme
WE Are The Champions-QueenSo which song uses WANT ?
Many thanks in advance

I got a correction and an answer. The WHAT is actually from “Love Shack” by the B-52’s. The WANT is from “Everything You Want” by Vertical Horizon.
May 4, 2005 at 7:02 pm #24754passajouDon´t you WANT me – Human League.
May 7, 2005 at 7:28 am #24772freq-kyThanks for the response Jeffrey and also for correcting me on B 52s.
Thanks anyway Gabriel for your answer, but I happen to have that well known hit single by The Human League and it wasnt on this particular montage (unless you know something I dont).Cheers.May 7, 2005 at 10:02 am #24774JingleMadMemberSo in total, how many Jack FMs are there now in the US?
May 7, 2005 at 1:50 pm #24775bulger23There are about 14 JACK’s in the U.S. right now. The latest being in Seattle which went on air April 22nd and WQSR’s switch soon after that. I suspect there will probably be more to come. And, there are U.S. stations with the same format using similar monikers like Ben, Abe, Bob, Doug, Dave and the new MIKE FM. So the format here may be up to a couple dozen stations so far.
Hope that helps.

Nice one Mr H……

sound as Fresh and memorable in 29 years time?!?!?May 11, 2005 at 9:27 am #24781BarrasThanks for posting the ED stuff David………..
