      Here is a studio cut from a vintage package that I have for AM 1480 (Drummondville), Quebec, Canada. I was DJ there in the early 90s.

      In French: C'est un été chaud; (il) faut bien en profiter!
      Translation: It's a hot summer; we must enjoy it (or Let's have fun!)

        Yeh, Québécois accents don't really work for jingles… Sorry! PAMS tried it at they weren't very good.

        But hey, you can still use these to try and sound like Stéphane Dion… ;)

          Ah! Ah! …

          If you think that we cannot sing jingles, perhaps it's because you did not hear yet any package made in the 90s, either for Rock Detente Network, CFOM 102.9 or CJMF FM. I think these ones were quite good actually. You know, French is a very colourful language.

          Regarding Stephane Dion, I would prefer to leave this topic for another day; it's already overcast here!!! :-) :-)

            Thierry;

            Thanks for mentioning RockDétente, THAT is a great little radio station (any jingles would be nice- cheeky ask!) and yes, Studios Peak are excellent at producing French-language jingles. It's just that I've heard some really bad PAMS French sings in the 70s and thought, just leave them alone.

              I'll try to post a cut when I'm back home, after work.

              BTW, Rock Détente is a network in the province of Quebec. It's not only one radio; there are currently seven stations I think.

                Heres what was the most significant slogan in the 90s for Radio RockDétente network in the province of Quebec, Canada.

                This specific jingle was sung for CITE 102.7, Sherbrooke.

                It wasn't made by Peak. At that time, they used a beautiful package inspired by something made in France, then adapted & recorded – I believe – at Studio Montana in Montreal.

                The cut below was recorded off air. I also have a studio quality version; however, the current jingle posted seems better to me.
