Ah thanks. I’m not going mad then!
Do you know which Capital package they were from by any chance?

But you can hear the far superior JAM Package (From their launch in Oct 1992) here;-

The Island FM JAM items are on (one of) the Alfasound demo cassettes.
I have a brief aircheck cassette of the station from summer holidays in the Channel islands in 1994 (and 1999),
with Island blasting out the Z100 logo and the “you no longer need to feel embarrassed!” sweepers. However, anything “in the clear” out there perhaps?

Just as an aside, we know that Channel 103 and Island FM had JAM resings,
and earlier BBC Radio Jersey and Radio Guernsey had Alfasound resings (legally as the islands
are not actually part of the UK for Copyright / exclusivity purposes, just Crown dependencies),
but did either of those BBC stations ever have JAM or indeed TM material?June 24, 2020 at 8:16 pm #105085UKJingles
MemberI must admit I did love the harmonies on the “MY” Package (even though it wasn’t produced in Dallas!) 😉
Does anybody have any examples of this package re-sung for UK Stations please?June 24, 2020 at 10:08 pm #105086rak

I think they must have had a 1997 top up package too then, as they definitely had a re-sing of Cut 13 ‘#1 In London’. The Capital version is at about 15:00 in on this video.

MemberThanks for posting that Invicta Supergold montage David……
I’m guessing WDTM must have had UK Representation as that doesn’t sound like the US Singers to me?
The original “My 102.5” Package was beautiful (The harmonies were up there with the Dallas Sound) even though they were sung in Santa Monica, California?
The Bass Guy on this package was fantastic whoever he was…
Taking this thread completely sideways and off the page…Does anybody have any versions of the WDTM “My 102.5” Package sung for other stations around the world? 🙂 -
