IQ Beats will be producing the imagery for the R1 Chart Show when Fearne Cotton & Reggie Yates take over on 14 October.
October 5, 2007 at 4:47 pm #53213JingleMadMemberthe jingles will work ..but ferne and reggie ..
October 12, 2007 at 11:24 am #53445MisterbumpExactly. Bring back Bruno Brookes I say – he is the tru Radio 1 Chart Show presenter. lol.
October 14, 2007 at 2:57 pm #53555danjamesukAh, very exciting! Just 5 minutes before we hear the brand new imaging for “The Radio 1 Chart Show with Fearne and Reggie”.
Looking forward to it! Something that sounds like a good old-fashioned chart countdown bed, that's what I'm hoping for… y'know, logos, a good beat, grows as the countdown commences… that sort of thing.
Fingers crossed!
3 minutes to go now… the tension's building ! :@
October 15, 2007 at 8:47 pm #53609PaulThe theme now includes over 53 individual components with quick and slow logos in a variety of different bpm's.
October 15, 2007 at 8:59 pm #53611IainJohnstonMemberCertainly a very gutsy, pacy effort! and is that a
hint of a 7-note “B-B-C Ra-di-o One” logo in that
lead guitar work???That guitar “up and down” slide work vaguely
reminds me of “Judy in Disguise” by John Fred
and the Playboy Band from 1967 !53 “components” sounds like a bit of over-kill though
for a single programme (even the Chart) – would
they really ever get round to using them all – unless
40 of them were the chart position number!October 15, 2007 at 11:59 pm #53619WelshjinglerDisappointing show with the presenters, no full countdown at the end and pretty much the same jingles as with JK & Joel. The only good thing about the programme was the music. Thanks for posting it Paul, where did you get hold of that because it's not on the IQ Beats website?
October 16, 2007 at 12:34 am #53620WelshjinglerHere's the UK Number One sweeper from the start of the show. Taken off-air with an added echo.
BBC Radio 1 – Official UK Number One (MP3)
Enjoy
October 28, 2007 at 5:43 pm #53825IQ BeastThe theme is finally available to hear on the IQ Blog.

October 28, 2007 at 7:21 pm #53827JingleMadMemberCan`t say it floats my boat i`m afraid

October 30, 2007 at 3:27 am #53845mumossI was expecting not to like it… but actually, I think that's pretty good! Not as good as a proper sung package would have been, but very nice as far as it goes.

November 15, 2007 at 9:47 pm #54327mattii70Interesting to hear a bit of sung vocal at the start of the aircheck posted on IQblog, is that a taster of things to come?

I suspect the last four words are just me making it up rather than anything intentional, though
Fearne and Reggie continue to be dire, anyway. Could they not find ANYONE better?
