Its that time to once again trawl through old tapes, creaking N7pst&r-era MP3s, long-mislaid bootleg dubs of ILR masters. and otherwise old, and not-so-old, audio files from obscure corners of Jingle-Land.

So, with total disregard for levels, EQ, clipping, hiss, pops, etc etc etc, and with a sprinkling of “repeats” (just like Christmas TV), may I present my Christmas “contribution” for this year …

Its a bit ragged around the edges but here’s a montage mainly from my aircheck collection.
Some jingles, ads, sweepers and ads from around the country. quality varies but theres some stuff I don’t think has been on JM before and it’s a taste of Christmas past on UK local radio.
There’s some Alfasound, Sue Manning, Groove Addicts, David Arnold, JAM, AJ, Pheonix, MMI as well as some of the greatest Voice Over talent :)

          enjoy……

There are some good festive jingle mixes here so I thought I would contribute!

I would just like to take this opportunity to wish everyone on here a Merry Christmas and all the best for 2015.

You may recall that in 2004 I created my JingleMad JingleMix Volume 4, which was a mix of festive jingles. In 2007 I dusted the cobwebs off this mix and revamped it with additional material. Since then, I have annually udpated my Xmas jingle mix with more festive cuts, including my own Christmas personal cuts from JAM in 2009 and 2010. This year, I have re-mixed it yet again with even more jingles!

As we are now almost upon Christmas Day I thought I would share my festive jingle mix for 2014 with everyone on JingleMad and in doing so, wish you all a Merry Christmas:

I hope you all enjoy it; especially if you missed the previous versions of my festive jingle mix. To truly appreciate the mix, please make sure you belt it out at top blast whilst having Christmas Dinner!

              Enjoy!

Now THATS how to really “go to town” on a Christmas Montage ! :)

Thanks for the sheer amount of effort you put into these Mark, and your “Christmas Personal Cuts” in recent times certainly outshine many a radio station or even network not only in budget but in lyrics and choice of excellent cuts!

A Merry Christmas to JMers wherever you may be, and Guid New Year :)

Thanks for the kind words Iain, although if I’m honest, this year’s effort to add a handful of additional cuts to the mix amounted to about an hour or two yesterday afternoon. I can’t believe that I originally created this montage 10 years ago; where does all the time go! My original 2004 Xmas Jinglemix was only 16 minutes long, but has gradually grown over the years to the 37 minute version I present here today.

I hope everyone in Jingle land is having a great Christmas.
