Hello folks. It has been a while since I posted something on here, so hopefully I get the prodecure right.

I came across this jingle recently by pure chance on the internet. I was naturally intrigued as it refers to a DJ called ‘Ron’. I am just curious who this might have been made for. Who is the Ron in question. Does anyone have any idea of the background? Many thanks.

Ron, are you referring to the lyrics at the start of the jingle? I think it says “Round, round, round, spin the CDs and the Records”.

In any case, the vocalist is Ben Ayling and it was a PAMS re-sing by Ken R 😊

I’m sure it’s “round, round, round”, referring to the CDs and records spinning 😊 Is it the version for SMG?

Thanks for getting back Linden with the info..You could be right about the lyrics. But still sounds to my ears like Ron Ron Ron. Maybe someone like Ken R himself would know for sure.

WDRC, before the sale, had a weekend oldies show that Ron S. use to do.

I tend to suspect ‘you tube’ has some of his old shows posted.
And without question Tracy Carman knows him. (same radio market)

I would call it a jam product on a pams track……
                    it aint that old

You could call it that, except it’s not a JAM re-sing – it’s the Ken R singers from the ’90s.

And also, the Ron that used to be on WDRC-FM and now runs Fun Tower Radio is Ron Sedaille. The one we were discussing in this thread is Ron Seeth.
