I’m sure I can be corrected by I seem to recall reading or hearing somewhere that the You package was written by Dick Hamilton and the YAM song was added last minute and was written by someone different to the rest of the package.
February 20, 2015 at 10:53 pm #97246mbMemberNice selection of jingles for those who had cuts sung… Here are mine that I just got, two of my favorites from Phase II and Airworks! Sean and the gang did a great job!

Nice Cuts – Reminds me of the DJ cuts on Radio Wesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss a really bad TM resing for Radio West in Bristol where they seemed to miss the t off West on most of the cuts.
February 20, 2015 at 11:08 pm #97247RobinBlamiresSounded more like the “S” and the “T” were missing from those rather dodgy resings of “Airworks” in Bristol.
“If you enjoyed it Roger Day, if not, Reginald Bosanquet”
February 21, 2015 at 12:30 am #97248SpoonsOK, OK… the complete order arrived, so here are mine. I don’t think I ever posted my original iJingles order, so the whole lot’s included in this little montage – these are all the cuts I’ve ever had from iJingles.

Obviously, I’ve had a little play about with these cuts since receiving them. But hey, that’s half the fun isn’t it?
Got to say, great job Sean and team!
February 21, 2015 at 6:42 am #97249RobinBlamiresThat is stunning! Really upbeat and a reminder of the golden era of ILR. Love the strings-only version of the “Synchronism” cut.

1:40~1:42 – Your name fits the intro so perfectly. Awesome vocal too.
February 21, 2015 at 10:22 am #97251LenGroatA superb collection Spoons – particularly love the Synchronism + the one I tagged – which I can only recall as ‘1 0 2 point sev-en – W -blah -blah -blah’ !
GREAT vocals…
February 21, 2015 at 10:25 am #97252mbMemberGreat cuts and lyrics – we must think alike as I reckon there are about 6 or 7 we’ve both ordered I still those cuts sound as hot and fresh as they did years ago if anything I’ve grown to appreciate them more.

Great cuts Spoons! Love the lyrics! By the way thanks as well Len & MB… Have always liked the Phase II package and when I worked at WTRY in Albany NY, back in the late 80’s, they had purchased the Airworks package a few years earlier, by the time I worked there, WTRY was an oldies station, so we used all the old packages from years back including cuts from Phase II, Airworks, Fusion, not to mention cuts from JAM, CPMG, we had quite the collection of jingle carts in rotation
February 21, 2015 at 5:02 pm #97257IainJohnstonWell, having played out the mixes at high volume, its a BIG THANK YOU to Sean for all his efforts :^)
– his tonsils must be worn out “demo-ing” lyric-fitting and his brain frazzled trying to make sense of some of our “non-demo-standard” wording and “requests”!
And Gawd knows what the TM “iJingles 5-voice Group” must have thought of trying to get their “teeth, tongue and lips” around some of this stuff, phonetic Japanese or even more “exotic”!
No doubt they and the TM adapters/arrangers will be relieved to get back to “More Music, One-Oh-Two-Point-Nine, Kludge FM” 40 times day instead…Hopefully Sean might compile a “Last Orders” montage some day…
PS – I do note that a certain Synchronism cut does seem to be THE ” all-time favourite”!
February 22, 2015 at 10:14 am #97262LenGroatWell I hinted a few says ago: “Our last buy from iJingles/TM will be on ‘our’ thread very soon…” so today’s the day as it will be on air later!

I think most of you know the original for WMJX Boston, and later it was sung for BBC Radio Shropshire. I’d had my ‘jingle eye’ on this for 18 months as a summer song but could never resolve a lyric. Now it’s an all year round station song, with particular THANKS to Sean for his input + Greg Clancy for writing the vocal charts.
February 22, 2015 at 11:29 am #97263radio_blokeMemberAlways loved the melody of that package and the latest SGGAM incarnation is superb!!
My favourite cut of the closing down sale so far………..February 22, 2015 at 1:16 pm #97265mbMemberGreat song. I can’t sat often enough how good the cuts the TM crew have produced for ijingles in 2015.
February 23, 2015 at 7:44 am #97269martinlesterMemberHave to agree great song, great singing and Greg always does a superb job with the vocal charts
February 23, 2015 at 2:51 pm #97275pvankleiMemberHere is my first personal cut from iJingles. A resing of Tanner: TSOP Cut #2 – The Sound Of Philadelphia.

Great job Sean and team on my ‘Dutch’ name!

February 23, 2015 at 5:26 pm #97278IainJohnstonIn hearing comments from people off-forum, would there be a liking for a new Thread specifically for those wanting to post examples of their “Last Chance Salloon” iJingles cuts, as this one’s getting quite big to navigate around now (and on some platforms the “last page” a bit of effort to get to)!
Certainly some excellent (and imaginative) re-sings appearing, both on-Forum and off.
Comment:- “Greg always does a superb job with the vocal charts”
And Sean tries to “create” them from our “musings and ramblings” – well done Sir!PS – “shame that we won’t be able to buy more of them!”
Those of us whose children a few years ago got caught up in the “Be&nie B&bies” craze may well have a nagging doubt there!
(The “End” was shortly after followed by the “Beginning” – “due to public demand” …)February 23, 2015 at 6:48 pm #97279radio_blokeMemberPerhaps “IJ’s JingleBay” where front sings, back sings and middle sings can be traded?
I imagine some cuts have been sung multiple times.February 23, 2015 at 7:20 pm #97280bobgreenradioMemberwhat am i missing here (i/j)?.
so the thing called ‘ijingles’ has gone away, but ‘dragonfly’ has not. ‘tm’ has not.
aside from the really foolish name (studio dragonfly), stuff is still for sale. frankly, had it been my choice, i would have tossed the dragonfly image under the bus, and left ‘ijingles’ alone. , but, nonetheless, trust me folks, tm will more than gladly sell you as much product as you want.i seem to remember dragonfly was getting under $200 per cut. with the interesting price jumps this is a good price.
February 23, 2015 at 7:38 pm #97281radio_blokeMemberThe killer is you have to buy 10 cuts from one package….
http://www.studiodragonfly.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=249&Itemid=158February 23, 2015 at 8:16 pm #97282bobgreenradioMemberthis week.
but remember….theres next week.
after the cloud-company runs out of “in house orders” for tm (and remember, this is all “funny” money movement, like the government paying the government) theyll need serious cash to pay the rent, sooner than latertheres no doubt in my mind that a serious cluster of mixed cuts wont be rejected at tm. money is money is money. it may require 2 or 3 guys pool their funds to place an order, but it will be accepted.
wait a few weeks. youll see.
the other thing is the dynamic bold new steam running tm. it aint your old fart/grandfathers company. it is doing fantastic work. the product is the best out of that zone now.
what corporate idiot would want to screw this up? granted, theres no end to these bow-tie boobs; but i have faith that the tm team today is most able to manage management bafoons.
as for the dragonfly web page? it hasnt been touched in a half dozen years. which is why ‘ijingles’ should have been kept as a logo/image for the discount service.
February 23, 2015 at 8:52 pm #97283radio_blokeMemberLets hope you are right Bob
Mind you putting the Bucks issue to one side, I can’t think of any package I could pick 10 cuts from.
We have had the luxury of cherry picking our favourite cuts!February 23, 2015 at 11:20 pm #97286LenGroatPeter: congratulations on your choice – WBT cuts had a ‘character’ all of their own and the current signers have really captured it.
I bought a Now Sound several years back that I’m delighted with and still use every week. If I had not got the ‘Magic’ song I’d have opted for an odd WBT one- from ‘The Station That’s Aw-All He-art’ ! Terribly old fashioned but fun.
February 24, 2015 at 2:45 pm #97288IainJohnstonThe Last Chance Saloon…
Not my most “original” lyrics, but intended to complement & supplement cuts I’ve had from various “other producers” over the years.
But chosen for BIG-sounding TM vocals, strong melodies, and out-standing tracks.Radio_Bloke:- “I imagine some cuts have been sung multiple times” – how many different ways can Synchronism Cut 8 be done then !?!?!? :^)
“Perhaps … where front sings, back sings and middle sings can be traded?”
I’m sure not a single JMer would ever consider doing such a nefarious thing for even an instant!February 24, 2015 at 8:37 pm #97291radio_blokeMemberI had not heard “The Magic of Boston” cut before, does anyone have the demo?
February 24, 2015 at 8:43 pm #97292LenGroatRadio-Bloke:
The demo !
Iain bought cut 3, I bought cut 12 – SUPERB package – well lyriced
