I’ve been thinking about getting another TM resing for a while now. Time to up its priority and get my lyric-writing cap on!! :-?

          Likewise!
I’ve been wading through the Dragonfly demos, but I do find the TM/C era stuff a bit “awkward-to-fit” with just a few but interesting exceptions.

However, I’m trying to find out what other packages other than the Dragonfly selection
may be officially “available for resing” in the time-window remaining

e.g “earlier” / classic TM Productions stuff pre-late-1980s
          e.g. “Knockout” (great package!)
e.g. the BFBS customs, or indeed ANY TM/MMI co-productions

or indeed things from companies “absorbed” by TM (P-T Now Sound we know at least).

I’ve always like the musicality of the velvet package but Star 92 gets in my head and I can’t re phrase it

Maybe listening to the “Radio Capitale” Italy version is easier?
Hunt for my 2002 “Grand Tour” montage (its here, somewhere, still – or should be…)

I also like the harmonies on Velvet – there’s the CFLG cut on that Christmas montage I posted a few days ago that really catches the ears on the last note of the letters.

Note:- Sean has just been able to provide me with some excellent help on what might be available from “retired” packages.
Now even more peering through a list then hunting for old demos :)

NB – anyone who has bought MPF Basics bundles from MPF should also be able to find loads of examples of non-demo versions when it comes to getting lyrics in their heads to fit the melodies of many a package involved.

I asked Sean about knockout a few years ago and it had gone to the great jingle skip on account of not selling well in the US – I was gutted could have had the whole package sung I love it. :(

I understand that the “WFBC/WSM” package has “Chiltern” related things?
I’m going to looking more closely at that!

Sean very kindly tracked down an unlisted package for me yesterday (woohoo!)
So the shopping list has begun!
Er indoors is going to be sick of me spending Christmas with headphones on :-D

Iain, Can’t find your montage. If you have time and still have it, can you send it my way?

                        Thanks

I’m still bummed that the IMUS-WFAN package is unavailable. One of my favorite late 80s era packages. It worked great with double power, proton and all hit kit.

                                  Unavailable or “dumpstered” ?
The more I think about this termination, the more I struggle to understand the motivation.
Not enough profit….. raise the price.
Getting in the way of big projects…… schedule One month a year when orders are quiet.
Wait till there is a block of Jinglemad orders.

Maybe all the “retired packages” are to be sold off?

Does anyone have the WFBC/WSM demo to upload? Can’t see it on the Studio Dragonfly site.

“McKenna in The Morning”, yes! Though I preferred the ever-elusive Hot KIIS resing during the hypnotist’s stint at Radio 1 in the early 90s…

I am hoping.. to get just one more order in… It all depends on business. A couple of LPFM customers and then most definitely.. otherwise, my jingle budget for the next 5 years has already been spent on pending TM and JAM projects.
