I was sorry to get this message today from Sean which I suspect quite a few of the ‘personal cut’ brigade have had?
“I’d like to thank you for your enthusiastic interest in our service, but regret to inform you that iJingles has been terminated by our parent company and that retired TM packages/one-off’s are no longer available. There won’t be a general announcement, but I will contact clients personally.”
Thanks for your help in the past…

December 17, 2014 at 7:42 pm #96558simon_t123Member… Bugger
I’ve had a lot from Sean in the past, hoped to do so again … I always wondered how the personal cuts project was viable, great prices & available for internet radio to use at will, but no residuals for the production companies, no legals, licences or paperwork etc …
There’s still Studio Dragonfly I hope ? Although that website also is a little un-loved of late, hasn’t TM had several management changes in the time iJingles has been running ? Maybe the new gaffers don’t see the use in such a service …
Whatever the case it’s quite sad, thanks to Sean for his work in previous years
December 17, 2014 at 8:46 pm #96562m_hodgeyMemberI too got the same sad email from Sean today. I’m saddened to hear the demise of iJingles as I’ve enjoyed having re-sings through this great service since 2005. It’s a shame there wasn’t chance to get one last order in. Sean and the team at TM have always delivered an excellent service.
December 17, 2014 at 9:01 pm #96563RobinBlamiresVery disappointing. I had a few resings in mind for ’15 too. Like everyone else, the service was fantastic when buying TM resings.
December 17, 2014 at 9:01 pm #96564mbMemberThe products have always ben first class and I think Sean’s heart was in the service he provided. He was always super helpful and many will be sad to see the service end.
I love the cuts I’ve had and many thanks to Sean for his work and efforts – it will be missed.Shame there was no notice to allow a few final cuts / orders I think that at least was a bit poor of TM, I was about to place an order for another cut.
December 17, 2014 at 9:23 pm #96565michiMemberOh crap.. I was budgeting a buy. I was ready to go. I really hope TM really thinks about this decision. I guess, it’s now back to JAM.
December 17, 2014 at 9:45 pm #96566RobinBlamiresThe fact that there’s nothing about the announcement on the website is even more worrying.
I’m guessing it was a either a rather swift decision, or an asset that TM were long wondering what to do with.
December 17, 2014 at 10:22 pm #96569michiMemberI was hoping I could finish out my package. I have 3 of the 5 Channel 4 Hot AC cuts.
December 17, 2014 at 10:59 pm #96570martinlesterMemberI did not get the notice as last personal cut , I ordered was 2 years ago
I was planning to order a new one with my bonus this year so it is a shame that no one was given a chance to put in a final order
I would also like Sean for the great service he gave over the years Ijingles will be sadly missed
December 17, 2014 at 11:25 pm #96571professor1036Firstly, I would like to thank Sean and the team at Dallas for all of their hard work that they put into my previous ijingles orders. I have been consistently impressed with their product and the TM Studios jingles, along with my JAM orders ARE Skylab Radio’s identity. Sean has been very supportive and walked me through the process right from the beginning to end of each order.
In the period between 2011 and 2013; I had to stagger my jingle requirements from TM Studios and JAM…so I ordered cuts when finances allowed. However if I had to place a minimum order…then quite simply I would not be able to place any order for jingles, especially if single cuts are being sold elsewhere. Even Studio Dragonfly’s prices are out of the league to a lot of internet radio operators, me included.
I really hope that the UK/Ireland representative for TM Studios…a certain gentleman who frequents this parish could accommodate some of us for personal cuts and internet radio orders in the future? But whilst Chris is an enthusiast like the rest of us…he also runs a business. Of course, whether it’s cost effective or not for him to do is another matter.
Whilst this door shuts, I sincerely hope that all the other doors will stay open, such as JAM for instance…or new avenues come along and pick up the mantle.
December 17, 2014 at 11:54 pm #96572michiMemberI would love to get Ignite KISS cuts as personals…
December 18, 2014 at 12:00 am #96573michiMemberI see on JAM’s page, their personal cut rates are changing (going up) on January 1.
December 18, 2014 at 5:42 am #96575MikeBrownI woke up to the email this morning, and it’s put me in a right bad mood! I’ve been going through cuts and singing my lyrics along (as you do) with an intention of buying this week. Sad news.
Thanks to Sean for all of his help in the past.
December 18, 2014 at 9:46 am #96576mbMemberI know there are a lot of people at TM who carefully and loving crafted the personal cuts for people and I’m sure the singers found them interesting and a break from more “run of the mill” sessions. Sean has been wonderful in managing and providing this service.
I can even understand if the service was uneconomic or difficult to schedule in an increasingly busy studios / operation and business decisions had to be taken about priorities and focus.
But for the corporate owners to pull the plug immediately with no notice is sticking two fingers up to customers many of whom did not have one offs but had several cuts over the years and came back time and time again. They could have chosen to run it down and allowed people a short period to make a final order or get something they wanted – it wouldn’t have killed them but would have been at least courteous to customers.
December 18, 2014 at 12:21 pm #96577radio_blokeMemberIf they are not being used to generate income. No point paying to store them.
Let’s hope Tracy gets there before the dumpster!December 18, 2014 at 3:36 pm #96579Sean MartinMember** LAST ORDERS ** LAST ORDERS ** LAST ORDERS ** LAST ORDERS ** LAST ORDERS **
Due to the extraordinary demand, orders will continue to be accepted through January 2015 only. This is your absolute last chance!
There are a few obscure packages for which we have tracks over on our Soundcloud page:
https://soundcloud.com/ijingles-com/tracks
Thank you.
** LAST ORDERS ** LAST ORDERS ** LAST ORDERS ** LAST ORDERS ** LAST ORDERS **
December 18, 2014 at 3:43 pm #96580m_hodgeyMemberThis is excellent news Sean and I would like to express my thanks to TM for allowing us all a “last chance” re-sing. It looks like I will be spending an enjoyable evening trawling through the demos tonight then
December 18, 2014 at 3:52 pm #96581michiMemberI hope this last minute rush may demonstrate to TM (Cumulus, whoever) brass that there is a demand for this service.
Also, how far into January will orders be accepted?
December 18, 2014 at 3:58 pm #96582IainJohnstonOh dammmittt!!!!
Now I know why things strangely went quiet after an initial positive reply to my enquiry in late November about a long-wanted Personal Cut.
The money’s in the kitty, so Thank You Sean for getting a temporary reprieve – time for us all to pick “somethings obvious” that the multi-tracks will still be “in the digital domain”.
December 18, 2014 at 4:00 pm #96584m_hodgeyMemberAlso, how far into January will orders be accepted?
I took the “Last Orders” statement to mean that orders will be taken until 31st January 2015, but I suggest sooner rather than later would be better. I will certainly getting my order in before the end of this week.
December 18, 2014 at 4:15 pm #96586mbMemberThat’s great news and at least lets it go out on a high and credit to them for reversing that decision and allowing people to make that final purchase very gracious – Sean you are gonna be a busy man!!!!
December 18, 2014 at 4:40 pm #96587michiMemberI heard back from Sean.. it is the end of January. No February orders.
December 18, 2014 at 4:59 pm #96588RobinBlamiresVery good news. I’ll be on the case very soon.
December 19, 2014 at 3:09 pm #96594mbMemberMy biggest problem with buying personal cuts is I can never decide from all that are available – its like asking which kitten do you want to live?
December 20, 2014 at 6:30 am #96599michiMemberI just ordered two cuts today.
