A new classic hits station signed on KNXR in Rochester, Minnesota today, but I do not recognize the jingle package. Can anyone ID?
March 7, 2016 at 10:52 pm #99639ratnobMemberHmmmm, not sure about the jingles, but here’s the backstory about the station:

A bit of a long one but it’s there … I’ll have a listen for the TOH if I can, that’s a typical giveaway … no one on Google claiming to have worked on the package, who knows ! Could be the work of the com-prod department or I’m sure I read some of the big groups now are producing things in house … the music is good, jingles are not so bad, the liners are funny
Possibly a TM Studios thing ? they had different vocal styles with ‘Lighthouse’ and ‘Kissville’ so it’s possible this is a different vocal slant from them …

April 10, 2016 at 6:43 am #99797WalkerbroadcastingI shared these with a friend in Minnesota who isn’t on this site.. and he said they exactly the same as another classic hits station and we theorized they are probably locally done.
That prompted me to ask a friend and these jingles belong to Creative Radio Jingles of Saint Cloud, MN

I happen to like them and think they sound good.. TM, ReelWorld and the like are good, but they sound alike.. yoiu know when youve got a TM or RW package by the sound.. these dont sound overused and overplayed
April 10, 2016 at 9:11 pm #99809glenThey actually do a nice job.
KRKT Albany Oregon uses them for all commercial needs.
Which beats the RW screech vocals they use for ID’s.
AnywatApril 10, 2016 at 9:11 pm #99810IainJohnstonYes, something “odd” about the tracks and the mix…the tracks are like…recycled?…from somewhere in the past or something.
They don’t sound like they’re trying to sound the same as everyone else (except …) currently do.
And its NOT a “big city” studio sound with big time pro singers.…BUT… with the exception of the WILD country thing, there are actually some very well crafted layered vocals/duets(?) harmonies in there.
An interesting listen! (especially in headphones…)

The “Hawaii’s Talk Radio AM 830” Was resung for another station I know.
Listen to that demo here:

April 11, 2016 at 8:51 am #99813IainJohnston“AM stereo”??? today??? Thought they gave up on that years ago!
(…although it meant for some very interesting jingles at the time…)April 13, 2016 at 5:36 am #99832glenThe ones in the plumbing category (Albins Plumbing and Pace Heating and Air) are actual jingles heard this market.
